With that, Hush took off, swiftly moving throughout the Festhall, searching. Whisper closed his eyes and watched through the cooshee's as he explored.

As the spell is cast, Illia pulls one of the loooooong ribbons from her hair, wrapping it around her forearm to tie it comfortably tight. She's got the other end and carefully slips it into Whisper's hand.

"I appreciate it. It can be very disorienting, at first."

He place his hand on the hound's neck and stared into his eyes.

Illiam'iira nods. "Okay! I can guide you out of the way of anything big or guide it out of [i]your [/i]way. I'll do my best to protect you." She gently pets Hush too, giving him some encouragement.

He spoke slowly and tried to keep it all simple. Cooshee were clever breeds, but there were still limitations. He and Hush had a few basic signals they'd always used, of course, but it helped to be able to communicste with more detail.

He turned his attention to Illi. "I'm going to send him off to see what he can find a place for us to start. I'll watch ehere he's going through his eyes, but I'll be limited in what I can see around me and won't be able to hear anything.""
