She wipes her eyes as she listens, sniffling. It's only when he mentions talking to someone who does Sendings that there's a change. Illiam'iira perks up at the sudden idea, her body tensing as more possibilities follow, mind jumping to its logical conclusion. Pouncing Fyne, she yelps out, "That's it!" Hugging him feels good and in a second Illiam'iira's sagging again... crying took a lot out of her.

"Thanks for listening..." Her breathing slows a bit. Suddenly everything's a lot less scary and a lot more manageable, and she feels a little stupid for getting so upset.

Slowly she stands, breathes. Holds up her brooch.

"This is the first insignia of the House of Synisilme. My mother gave it to me a few days ago. I... ran away. 'Cause... I'm scared of what it means."

"She, uh... she sent... my cousin to come make sure I'm okay... and she got here... uhm... a few weeks ago. And I can't. Get ahold of my mom. I keep Sending her messages. I tried Sending one to my grandmama. My pawpaw. I can't get ahold of any of my family. I'm gonna try Sending a message to my uncle tonight but... I think... I think I really, really, really fucked up, Fyne... I haven't told Quev or Amelie yet... I don't really know what to do. All I know is I did something stupid just so I could take a break and now maybe I dragged them into it and --" Her breath hitches as she slaps a hand over her mouth. Calm down. Calm down.
