The Fraternity currently had to deal with no less than five different swords all having supposedly being owned by the same legendary king of one of the planes being sold right now, with each merchant claiming their own to be the real deal and the others bad imitations.
Dare has been tasked with sorting the whole affair out. It, of course, had to start with researching the subject at hand to understand what this was all about.
A Gordian knot of conflicting versions apparently. She had awoken before dawn, looked at piles of books most of which were still around her, filled a fresh notebook, and even written the most important points in big characters on a board borrowed from one of the teaching rooms.
That was a good start but not the end, she mused as she paced back and forth between the library's shelves, trying to determine the next logical step to take.
