She tilts her head before nodding to Thaddeus.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Illiam'iira flutters her wings with a grin before following behind Whisper. She'll help him with any tracking while keeping an eye out for beasties!

"Those will be good for you to have, if we encounter thicker vegetation. But, I should be able to get us there as quickly as possible."

He moved forward, leading them towards whatever he had sensed.

Seeing Illiam's confusion, he lifts the rods and let's the ropes fall, showing the loops at the bottom that act as stirrups. "Thought we had to go up. Rigged these up to be like a floatin' ladder."

A few miles wasn't ideal, but it also wasn't unreasonable. At the very least it offered more exploration of the forest. "Lead the way Whisper."

You do get a small sense of something in the background as something far off into the distance several miles out.

Illi boggles a bit at what Thaddeus brings about, now... genuinely curious what he's gonna do. And how he's gonna do it. This trip just keeps getting more and more interesting!

After Illiam mentioned flying, Thad feel a twinge of regret and longing for his much enjoyed Broom of Flying; however, thanks to his luck on the Wheel, he had an alternative. Thad was digging out his immovable rods with some rope and stirrup loops attached when he hears Whisper casting a spell that was not Fly.

He stands up, rods and rope in hand.

He shook his head. "I have some magic that will hopefully point us in the right direction."

Stretching out hus arms, he spoke a few words and described the type of tree again.
