You discover thru your limited time of research more about Chronomancy from the Netherese, a lot more than the library back in Sigil (it helps to be on the plane where they were from, after all). Although you were told much of their history lies within a the inner sanctum, a area you would not be allowed into by the monks, the basics of Chronomancy can be conducted. Of course, the best way to apply this would be to figure out what Fyne entered into and interrupted and recreate it, but the vague details you've been given about it wouldn't help you.
Still, all is not without hope. There is a ritual you can copy down and learn to manipulate some time travel, up to a year in the past, albiet temporary. requiring scales of three different dragon types (which can be obtained in Sigil), and the remains of a time elemental (not so much easily obtained). You can copy this ritual into your book for the moment, which could end up being useful for when you are ready to explore the ethereal plane.

With Illiam'iira's assistance, Fyne is able to collect up some useful volumes on the nature of the demiplane of time. They're more useful than any tomes he previously found on the subject at the very least, but the Awoken wasn't kidding that there wasn't much information in the library about the plane itself. Not many folks that have visited and come back apparently.

Seeing all times here, and yet when they leave, feel nothing but fleeting thoughts about it, much like your own. Still, everything shown is just vague memories of their time there being all but removed, but not entire sections of their lives being gone. You might be the first to experience such a thing, or at the very least, the first one choosing to come forward about it.
