A certain monodrone was still thinking about their 'fortunes'-based reverie at the Singing Fountain as they found their way back to the Gatehouse. That, and their conversation to Mr Kalamizov the day before. They didn't like the idea of a puppet theatre... it might give their visitors the idea that ...

Being quite slow and will probably keep so for the time being as I recover from a (thankfully simple!) surgery, but posting here in case anyone wants some discussion on fortunes.

The morning at the Gatehouse had been quite productive - even if maybe not the way Feature had expected or predicted. But what good were predictions, anyway? Tthey could help one take decision, of course. But with exceptions aplenty to every rule, 'underlying order' a lot and any kind of cosmic tele...

The monodrone laughs a little less mirthlessly at the playwrights comment on puppets. They did think puppets were fun, or sometimes cute... but so could sentients. Could puppets debased themselves?... maybe not? They then nod at Kalamizov's comment on the killers. "Huh! We remembered some stories......

Whoops, one more question! I ended up doing my Faction Task roll before seeing we would level up. Reliable Talent could have helped there (since I can use another class feature to improve the roll a bit.). Is it alright if I change the roll to take that into consideration?
