Contemplative Contemplations [D2, MA/LA, Open]

It was *not* a particularly smart idea for her to be heading into the Clerk's Ward, she knew that. Point in fact, she hasn't been back here; safe perhaps the fringes; in *some time*. But, she also figured that avoiding the possible encounters she might have here forever was a poor way of growing along the path she'd been on since parting ways with her family.

And today she was called to contemplate such matters. Granted, it was more a matter of meditation in pursuit of inspiration... but she figured she was basking in creative inspiration already, and what she really needed was... well, inspiration of a different sort. Insight or guidance on how to proceed further along her philosophical development and the like. How to grow beyond who she was.

The Hall of Information was not exactly the obvious place to do so. But a part of her had enjoyed the architecture as a child. And it was quiet, too. And it took *forever* to get anything done here. Because she *did* have a thing or two in mind. Tangentially related to the whole contemplative meditations thing, even.

She'd never really known her mother. Had only been *told* things. And she'd stopped believing those things some time before she'd left the ward behind her. Thing is, it'd never much mattered to her. She was who she was, regardless of whatever truth there was to the fact her mother hadn't ever been around. But that didn't mean there wasn't a part of her that wasn't slightly curious at least. And supposedly, this was the place to go if you wanted to learn about... well, anything really. Who knows, she might find something out.

Or nothing at all.

But at least the process of finding out which of the two it'd end up being was long and dull enough that she had *plenty* of time to think. And meditate.
