Ikkit... blinked. Grabbed what seemed to be some sort of roasted rabbit and started tearing into it.

"The Doomguard? No plans in particular. I generally hate/loathe/despise/hold in contempt all Factions, but I am a realist. If they object to salvage, they will find many more hands turned against them than just mine. If they require Guild service, they will pay the same price as any other."

"They are less than masterful at their chosen field of endeavor, given how many of us make a living in salvage without membership. But no reason one cannot be a member of both."

"You're from the Feywild?" Illi perks up. "I, uhm, my family has strong ties there!"

She tilts her head, thinking a moment. "Why do you want to become a god?"

'' It is just another normal prime world, not much different from the standard.'' She adds. '' So if your first recolection of experiences is from the feywild perhaps then you are not a modron? '' She thought about it, trying to figure out what the machine looking being was.

Then she observes the dog, and thought that perhaps the machine was a self replicating artificial magical creature? she was not sure.

'' Well that is interesting.''

"It is..." Ore slowly inclines his head to the side. "Possible to fully answer both questions in a satisfactory manner. But it is complex."

The being pauses for a moment, the glow in his eyes dimming for a moment.

"My first memories are coming to, much as I am. Time is a fluid thing amongst the planes, but especially in the Feywild, so I do not know how long I had waited for that day but one day my eyes opened and strength filled my limbs. I found myself compelled" Ore pauses at the word, the crystals that were his eyes rotated and the light narrowed "to travel through the Feywild and to Sigil. That I was to join the Godsmen and achieve apothesis. When asked for a name, words game to me."

The sound of Ore's voice suddenly changed, "If I am denied the right to use the Forge, then I shall provide the ore and have it forge itself, to cast off the impurities of the flesh"

There is a pause and the construct returns to normal. "And thus, that was what I was: Ore, the raw material to be shaped."

"I'm definitely opened to commissions paid in gold. Science is expensive. I make no mystery that the cash prize offered for tonight's contest was the main incentive for my participation."

"Of course, an artisan deserves adequate compensation. I have a few thoughts on the matter after seeing your creation, some that might even be appropriate for the City Court. When I was working there yesterday, some of the more aesthetic aspects of the design stood out to me. I think if you could add an automated feature, an imposing guardian or even pair of guardians patrolling outside might send a strong message of law and order and discourage such shenanigans as occurred. A much more practical alternative than actual golems... If the automation is too complex, I'm sure people could be found to operate them for some jink."

The Factol smiles as the drinks appear and the Lady leaves.. She quickly grabs her whiskey and downs in one go, coughing a little bit from the rush of poison inside of her. She smirks and hands the glass to her consort, giving him a small wink and extends her hand to his. "Way too eager...but dat can be a craic experience by its own roi. So, show me waaat yer can chucker oyt dare."
