Day One, Early afternoon: Honest forms for Honest work

The flayer was back at Tensar's office with all of the required forms, triple checked, and the letter of recommendation from Lady Tomay.

Truth be told they were enjoying their return here. Ser Tensar was an agreeable and well educated man having a good discussion with him was an extra opportunity.

Tensar was in front this time, cleaning up the shop once more. "Ahh, L'Orr-hui. I'm actually surprised you came back so quickly!" Your approach seemed welcoming and he seemed friendly enough. "Got the forms I requested, then?"

"Well, that's excellent." He says with a smile and starts to sort thru the forms one by one. "I see your friend didn't accompany you. I do hope she comes back..."

Pondering the nature of social assumptions L'Orr-hui replies with a non-commital

"That's fine. Well, no point in belaying it, let's begin." He says to you, motioning you to follow him. (Assuming you do), you follow him thru a few hallways and into a office with a chair facing a desk. "Just have a seat over here and I'm going to just start you off with some basic questions."

((Passive Investigation passed: You notice a glyph draw on the chair he is asking you to sit in.))

While this illithid was more sociable then most, they seldomly enjoyed people trying to make them a fool. A point needed to be passed

"Very perceptive." He said with a nod to his head. "It's a Glyph installed with a Zone of Truth spell on it. I have there to ensure I know exactly who I'm going to be working with. Deception is a commodity used and traded quite often in this town, after all. You're more than welcome to examine it, of course, if it will put you at ease. I just ask you not to disable it. It's not easy or cheap to place one down, after all."

He smiles and continues. "I'm not sure if you've ever had the pleasure of experiencing a Harmonium interrogation, but one generally knows when they are under a Zone of Truth spell. Hard to root out the deception."

He sits himself down and sorts thru the notes, letting you get as comfortable as must to begin the next step.
