Illia's skipping up the stone steps and humming, humming, humming a little tune to herself, she's found another garden, and they serve tea there! Her whole body's bright with excitement, a rainbow halo crowning her head as she trails sparkles behind her. Sigil's got a few sweet secrets in her yet and the little drow's ready to learn all about this one!

In the quiet garden, Amelie sat with a leg crossed over her lap. She set down her warm cup of white tea into the saucer before flicking back up her papers. She had been there, as often she would, for a couple of hours reviewing some documents and recent cases brought up by the Harmonium. Though not her faction, she found it often helpful to be kept abreast of goings on within the courts, should she need to find any fugitives in short order.

The mid evening was quiet, the light drawing low over the garden, but still providing sufficient cozy light to continue her work before wrapping up for the day; her cup of tea only helped her to feel at ease in the strange new world she found herself in.

As a familiar hum carries its way to Amelie, Illiam'iira skips up the last few steps and hops around to take a gander at the view, hands planted on her hips as she takes it all in. Sigil's architecture reminds her so much of her father's home. He'd probably have enjoyed that about the city, at least. Not the chaos though. And all the devils and demons. He had a weird thing about those.

Turning back, Illiam strides into the garden... only to almost walk into a tree when she catches who's already there.

Hearing a familiar tune, and then a voice, Amelie peers over the top of her folio of papers. She spots Illi and an ordered smile spread over her teeth.
“Well well, Illi my dear if you weren’t the one I was least expecting to find here. I was wondering when I might come across you. Do you know I’ve been looking for almost 3 weeks to find you?”

The woman sets down her documents and stands up excitedly from the table in order to greet her friend, very well aware of what was coming.

"AMELIEEEEEEEEE!" It is a very, very good thing she stood (Amelie knows Illia very well) as the drow runs to tackle her friend with a hug! Illiam'iira clings to Amelie as she starts barraging the poor woman with questions. "How did you get to Sigil? Why were you looking for me, you know where I live! Are you well? How's the tea? Are you doing well? Have you found any fun places to play here yet? How's the family? I missed you!"

A grunt of air escaping her as the comparatively much shorter drow tackles into her gut with a big hug, Amelie hugs her friend back and tries her best to answer the flurry of questions as they come.

“Yes yes, it is nice to see you as well. I am doing well. The tea is fine. I am still doing well. I have not found many fun places, but I like this garden. The family is doing well also. Yes yes, Your mother sent me. Well, she asked my father to send me, and he did. Of course he did. But anyway, how are you? I think the portal got a bit mixed up with the timing, as I’ve been here long enough to have enlisted with one of the factions and start to build some report with the local ‘cagers’ as they’re called, all before finding you.”

“Yes yes, it is nice to see you as well. I am doing well. The tea is fine. I am still doing well. I have not found many fun places, but I like this garden. The family is doing well also. Yes yes, Your mother sent me. Well, she asked my father to send me, and he did. Of course he did. But anyway, how are you? Illiam'iira blinks. "What? Mama sent you?" (As always, Illiam pronounces 'mama' in the silliest way imaginable.) She pulls away from Amelie to look up at her with big eyes. "...how long have you been here? Is -- oh goodness."

“Yes, she sent me and asked me to keep an eye on you. Naturally, I could not tell her no.”

She smiles at Illiam’iira, her Aasimar features nearly as perfect as one could imagine for a human. Clear skin, silver hair, and piercing golden eyes that look back to Illi’s gaze.

“It’s not been terribly long. Like I said, several weeks, maybe a month or so. I’m not sure how long ago you arrived, so I can’t tell how much of a difference there may be.
