She didn't like to do stuff like this, after all, she was searching for a completely different thing, but, since she had joined in the Society she was somewhat oblidged to at the very least do some work for the sensates. Thus, the celadrin was searching for new experiences and events to catalog and then proceed to share with the Society at large at some point.

Looking around at the great bazaar was posibly a good place to experience new things and peoples or beings, since it was where most of the contacts between beings of different planes and primes gathered around and exchanged ideas and concepts.

Though she didn't like to be forced, to some degree to do this, she was still somewhat amused by searching and if by doing this she could get closer to her true final objective, then so be it...

[Shemeshka]

As you walk thru with your entourage of men knights, another entourage begins to make its way thru the market. A fox-looking woman in a fine dress walks thru the market, keeping a sharp eye on things while a human man walks close by, holding a large mirror. She stops herself along the path for a moment, checking the mirror for a few moments and adjusts her razorvine crown. Your knights step out of the way as the woman approaches, clearly knowing their place on the totem pole.

She passes by you and, looking directly at you, she smiles brightly at you, showing her teeth.



"Why hello there, Alynne. Why don't you walk with me for a moment?"

Alynne turned around to observe the fox-like creature, she was not so sure if she knew what this creature was, but tried to observe it, not only to know her nature but also if she knew anything in particular about its presence in Sigil.

'' It seems that you have heard of me, my lady?'' She asked, not surprised at all, why would any of these people not know who Alynne is after all, right? '' I'm afraid that i have been not presented to you. Forgive me, i have recently arrived so, my lack of knowledge of your grace comes from primer ignorance...'' She bowed respectfully, noticing not only her entourage but her own knights giving the respect that this creature deserved, possibly due to power or influence, or most likely both.

Alynne also took a look at Sephtir to know if the ''raven'' knew anything about the fox-creature, hoping to see if the ''raven's'' own attitude towards the creature will give her some clues.

"Oh, I try to know all the up-and-comers in this city. And your ignorance of my importance can be forgiven, though it would not serve you well to remain so if you wish to survive." She preens a bit, but keeping her gaze on you. "My name is Shemeshka. Some know me as the Maruderer, others as King of the Cross-Trade. However, if you walk with me, you may end up calling me 'friend'. And I am a good woman to have as a friend, Alynne, I know all sorts of songs you could enjoy."

'' Ho? really...'' That got Alynne captivated. '' Songs are something that i do like, although the quality of them are a very important factor, my lady.'' She commented as she accepted the creature's invitation to walk alongside her and its entourage.

'' My lady Shemeshka seems like someone who can enjoy a bit of the finer things, i can see...'' She observed the creature's attire and of course the whole fanciness surrounding it. '' I guess that you already heard about what i'm seeking, well, not that is a secret, but i'm quite surprised that the word spreaded so fast.'' The celadrin said.

"Few know this about me, but I am quite the fan of many art pieces and music, --oh, one second." She stops and checks herself in the mirror again for a moment or two before nodding and continuing to walk. "Perhaps we could share our interests and knowledge on musical movements...should we become friends, of course. You do have quite the potential, but friendship is a two-way street. Built on bonds of trust, mutual interests, and favors for one another."

[Ikkit the Bastard]

Ikkit had awoken from his slumber and prepared to head on out to the bazaar as usual to peddle his wares, only tyo find that the Chaosmen had decided to share the love, so to speak, with every other Faction in Sigil.

Ikkit was torn.

On the one hand, it was a damned nuisance, and no serious business would get done until the mess had been cleaned up.

On the other... the Factions getting it right in the eye wasn't exactly the sort of thing to bum him out.

So while all around him everyone scuttled around doing this, that, and the other, Ikkit had found a nice, quiet spot to sit on his blanket with some of his wares on display, but more importantly, a tasty rat on a stick in one hand and a highly amused eye on the ratlike scuttling of the more concerned Faction types passing through the area.

'' I completely understand...'' Alynne nodded as she observed her ''raven'', a walking sign of ''friendship'' and a two-way street bond. '' Well since you approached me, Lady Shemeshka, i will share with you what i know.''

The group continued to speak as they walked through the bazaar, stopping nearby some goblin offering some wares on a blanket. '' I do possess what i have come to believe to be a part of the Song of power that i have been looking for.'' She refered to the score that she has. '' I'm not sure completely sure if it is true or not, but, from where i acquired it, well, it probably has some weight on it being the real deal.'' She adds, sharing her story. '' My ''benefactor'' believes that it is the real deal as well.''

'' But if it is true, it is only a fragment.'' She adds, while observing around the wares of the goblin if there was anything interesting on sale.

The fox-looking creature nodded. "Oh, how interesting. Well, being who I am, I would know the right people to discuss more about these sort of things. Music experts, mages, et cetera, et cetera." She waves her hands around. "So, I'll do this for you, as the first sing of our friendship, and find the right people to talk to." She paused... "And I won't even ask for anything in return you. I approached you, after all, looking for a friend, so I should enact the first act to bond us together."

She pauses and looks down at the goblin. "Oh yes, you. Ikkit. Excellent work the other day. Keep up the good work, please." She grins, showing her teeth once more and turns over to one of her men in her entourage. She looks over at one of her men. "Buy him out." After which a Tiefling approaches you and looks down at your goods.

"How much for it?"

She adds, while observing around the wares of the goblin if there was anything interesting on sale.

On his ragged blanket was, well...

Trash.

Not smelly or rotting trash, but there was no confusing it for anything new. Bits of scrap metal, bits of glass in various states of (dis)repair, a small pile of ragged clothes, bits and pieces of broken toys, and an assortment of shoes.

He also sat atop a small sack that presumably had more in it.

But no sales pitch was made- he simply let anyone who wanted survey what he had on offer.

And then along came a Yugoloth.

He tilted his head at her, and... half-smiled.

"Happy t'have delivered on the contract."

To the tiefling, he flicked his ears slightly.

"Ten gold'll get everything on the blanket. The stuff in the sack'll set you back 'nother fifty."
