[Mysti]

Mysti chuckled softly as she leaned back into the couch cushions, stretching her legs out in front of her.

"So ... it's like being in a faction ... but ... saying you're not in a faction." She gave Whisper a bit of a teasing look, complete with a little grin. "Alright ... I'll buy it. Who knows. The Free League may have been something I would have joined. It's just ... the money for bounty hunting for the Harmonium was just too strong a lure."

Mysti looked back to Hush, reaching over to ruffle his fur. "Right Hush? Are you in the Free League, too?"

Then she sat up and stretched, arcing her back almost like a cat. "Feels so good to relax. Been such a crap day. No. Scratch that. It's been a crap week. Up until I sat down to play some cards with a certain someone, at least."

[Whisper]

He sat down beside her. "You can stay for as long as you like. Not that we need to stay long before begining our trip."

Hush looked up at him. "That's right. We're all going to leave the city for a while."

[Mysti]

"I was just availing myself of a little comfort before we left. Might be awhile before I'll get to relax on an actual couch."

Mysti swiveled herself on the furniture so she sat sideways, her legs over the armrest, her back leaning against Whisper's shoulder.

"Yeah, I wouldn't give this place up if you don't have to. It's ... unique." She paused to think for a moment. "Actually now that we're on the subject, I need to stop by my own place, talk to the landlord about paying awhile upfront. I need to pick up a few things. And by a few things, I mean pretty much everything."

[Whisper]

"What do you think we should get for supplies?" he asked. "Most things are easy enough to get in the bazaar."

[Mysti]

Mysti continues lounging, idly petting Hush once in awhile.

"Well ... it's been a long time - well over twenty years - since I spent time in the wilderness. I don't think I have much in the line of bedrolls, tents, torches, even the humble messkit -- that and other things we'll have to buy, I'm sure."

She looks down at Hush as she falls silent in thought.

"We might be better off if we get mounts. Carrying everything on our backs might not be the best way to do things."

[Whisper]

He wrapped an arm around her as they relaxed on the couch.

"It depends on what comforts you want and where we go." He said. "As long as we avoid extreme temperatures or weather, we can travel fairly light. But, mounts are a good idea, especially if we want to travel for a while. The main issue would be keeping them safe."

[Mysti]

"And if we manage to find a tressym -- which I haven't forgotten about, by the way," Mysti gave Whisper a little cheeky grin as she leaned into Whisper's arm. "It might like to ride on a mount rather than fly the whole time. It looks as if they only fly short distances, but I don't know for certain."

"We'll have to buy a mount somewhere - or at least I will. Don't know if you have one or not. Wish I could get something exotic," she chuckled softly. "But I doubt I could afford it."

[Whisper]

"I don't have one." he shook his head. "Most of the places I go aren't suitable for mounts. Dense forests. Deep tunnels. Tall mountains. That sort of thing. There have been times when I was hired to capture something and bring it back alive. Mounts or wagons were included on those contracts."

"I think I can get us a couple of horses. It shouldn't be too much of a problem."

[Mysti]

"Weeellll" ... Mysti said, dragging out the word much longer than necessary. "I suppose horses will be adequate -- cheapest and easiest. Mmhmm."

She thought for just a moment before sitting up excitedly and turning to face Whisper. "But ... I always wanted something like a griffon ... or hippogriff or ... one of those mixed breed mounts. Like a ki-rinn mixed with a gold dragon. If there even is such a thing. Unfortunately though I don't know how to fly -- or at least have a flying mount respond to my commands."

Another pause. "Ah well, guess horses will do."

[Whisper]

"As striking as you would be flying around on wyvern or something, I think we'll have to put that on the to do list." he grinned. "Let's get you your flying cat before we look for a flying mount. Wouldn't be fair to Hush anyway."
