Daily Feature 5 - What's the point? (D5, Lady's Library, LM-EA)

After what ended up being a whole day of walking about and trying to help (not necessarily with much success) at the Gatehouse, the madders got into some discussion again this morning - and Feature suddenly remembered some of that talk from the Hooded Perv a few nights ago.

They did say a whole lot about balance, things being more complicated and deeper... the kind of thing they'd really learnt to not take too seriously (or seriously at all) during those last few years with the Bleakers.

But maybe there was at least something interesting to all of that? If so, maybe they could find something out in books. Also, they liked books, even if they didn't like the Lady's Ward very much. So it was worth a try!

There was a lot of confusing stuff, of course. Planar lore was complicated, and at times it was insidious - almost made one think there might be some kind of deeper order or meaning to everything.

All an elaborate ruse of an ultimately nonsensical world, of course.

But that nonsensical world did have some interesting bits here and there!

D5 - Faction task - Arcana check. Advantage from Lady's Library (I think) | 2d20kh1+2 ⇒ 16 (Pass even without Advantage, btw)

D5 - Lady Library - time doing research | 1d4 ⇒ 3 - so 3 hours spent, I suppose? Not that it should matter for a Faction task I guess

After what ended up as more general research about the Planes (which should be useful for those discussions with the other madders! There were some pretty good jokes to be told after all), Feature ended up needing quite a bit more time to try and find out anything about those things the Hooded Perv mentioned...
