Library time for Akh, again. Matters that needed research had been steadily accumulated and while she had been trying to hook into them she kept feeling as if she brushed against impenetrable surfaces, not making any progress. Maybe the answers were here somewhere?

Let's start with Argynvost. Cyprian knew something, but perhaps something could also be found on his progeny.

Information from the Demiplane of Dread was rare and hard to come by since, once the Plane has a hold on you, it does not want to let go (a fact you are no doubt very aware of). Still, there have been some stories of escapees sharing the tale of the silver dragon named Argynvost, who, disguised as a noblemen, attempt to overthrow Strahd by creating the Order of the Silver Dragon. The order fought him back successfully for some time. However, as with all things in Barovia, they were all overwhelmed in the end by Strahd's endless assaults and the dragon was killed.

Did the Silver Dragon have children as a nobleman, or in dragon form? And a nobleman from where? She tried to follow the references in the books she had found to find anything about Argynvost's partners, perhaps among the order members, and the possibility of his progeny.

Nothing so detailed as that. These were off hand accounts of experiences of people who escaped, after all. They wouldn't necessarily know the specific details of who he was sleeping with or any potential offspring.
