[D6 - LM][Taxes] You have Nothing to Fear, If You Have Nothing to Hide

Alynne's Mansion, The Lady's District
Alynne woke up earlier than usual, she waited for her daily breakfast on her bed, while her servants and maids prepared her for the announced visit of the tax inspectors from the Fated. She had nothing to hide, in fact, she didn't even knew what was the amount of payment she was due, but nonetheless, if it was required for her to pay whatever, she would do so.
After taking a bath and getting ready for the tax collectors, she went down from her room to the main hall of her home in Sigil, a quite nicely decorated mansion in The Lady's District. Her loyal four knights already waiting in formation for the agents, while Alynne stood a bit further to receive them. This was all highly ceremonial and should not take too much time she thought.

The Fated tax collectors arrive, and Alynne and her servants bow to them. Then Alynne take them around a slight tour through her house, while at the same time her servants prepare breverages and a small breakfast in the main room for the collectors.
When they reach the main table in the dinning room, Alynne sat down with the tax collectors, while their servants stood behind them in case they need anything.
The tax collectors were baffled. Clearly Alynne was a very rich person, but after looking around and observing her papers, there was nothing there illegal, all was in perfect order, but somehow, the celadrin was, by the rule of law, very poor. They scratched their heads while checking the numbers and laws over and over and over again, but there was nothing.
Alynne also presented evidence of her contributions to the general public, which meant that she actually had some tax deductions in line, although there was a slight discrepancy over some of the taxes over such activities that, from the tax collectors, meant that she had at least have to pay something.
After a while and without noticing anything more that could be used, the tax collectors argue that Alynne owed the equivalent of 96 copper pieces, a meager pitiful amount, she gave a full 1 gold piece which meant that she paid 100 copper pieces, so the Fated tax collectors following the law converted and gave back 4 copper pieces.
''Well if everything is on track, i give you my thanks for today, gentlement.'' She said to them respectfully. She didn't even knew why all this formalities for a few coppers, but, the law was the law.
As the tax inspectors began to leave, they still didn't comprehend how she had done it...

As the Fated and the Harmonium bodyguards begin to scurry off from your position, in the back of your eye, you could have sworn you saw something in the side of your eye. However, just as the feeling was there, it goes just as quickly, leaving you and your guards to continue about your daily business.

Alynne was not that paranoid, but still, if she felt something then it was worthy to see if it just was a hunch or not.
'' Did you felt that?...'' She asked telepathically to Sephtir, more as a retorical question, after all their senses are linked.
'' Yes i did.'' The imp replied through their link
'' See what you can find. Be careful. I will be right behind you...''
'' As you command my mistress...'' The imp, in raven form, suddenly dissapeared from Alynne's shoulder, as it turned invisible and started to fly towards the direction of the sensation that Alynne felt and then to the rest of the house.
Meanwhile, Alynne in a very subtle move, while keeping a normal face and attitude, grabbed her beautiful bandore which is never far away from her. For anyone else that subtle move would be nothing, but for her guards it meant that something was bothering her, and almost at unison they all put one hand on the pommel of their swords, as the trained guards they are. The rest of Alynne's staff didn't knew these physical interactions and signs so they continue to do their normal work, like cleaning the plates that the inspectors used or cleaning the floor.
Alynne, while keeping the appearances, starts moving towards the direcction where she felt that sensation, while her knights, already prepared moved while protecting her in a square formation with Alynne in the middle...

[OOC - Rolls]
Sephtir: Turns invisible at will, in raven form flies towards the subjective sensation that Alynne had, ahead of the rest of the group.
Alynne: Prepares her bandore while keeping external physical appearances that nothing is happening
Knights: Ready to action, surround Alynne in a protective formation as they all walk in a group following the invisible imp.
Staff: Continues their normal day work as they don't know about these signs
Question: I assume that due to the description of Aristocratic expensenses, the mansion has protective mundane and magical wards, traps and enchantments, and that Alynne should know about their trigger activation words and conditions, should i would need them?

((You have a ye olde basic magical security & alarm system, yes))
Your guards remain close by as your familiar flies off to inspect the rooms while the rest of you explore. You sweep each room, slowly but surely, checking each room for any possible assailants. Takes you about 10 minutes, but you finish your sweep and can take some assurance that nothing is here with you, and so you can at least breathe a sigh of relief that it was just a overactive imagination.
Still, never hurts to be overtly cautious with these things.
Which room would you like to focus a search on?

'' I'm sure i felt something. Sepht, could had been an ethereal plane invasion?'' Alynne ask her familiar telepathically while at the same time they continue to search around the first floor rooms where she began their search. If there was an actual breach, the wards of her mansion should had warned her.

[OOC]
Keep looking around the first floor rooms.
