[D6, EM-MM] Morning Meditations

Post by Thaddeus » Wed Aug 23, 2023 11:15 pm

After a night of dames, drink, and debauchery, Thaddeus decides for today's sensory ritual he would return to his roots.

Walking through the slags as the morning light waxes, he comes to a stone wall. Not any stone wall but the Scratch Wall. Its marred black surface had been a landmark in the Hive for thousands of years and still somehow had space left for cagers to continue marking it. Or perhaps, as what frequently happens here, all evidence of their existence was wiped away in time. Pulling out his viol and bow, Thaddeus finds a spot to settle into and draws out a melancholy tune.

He had come far in his few years of life in the Cage. Many didn't make it out of the Hive, but he was fortunate. A bit of arcane talent and a bit of luck had guided him to where he was now, Factotum of the Society of Sensation and vassal to Al-Jasem.

Rather than an external sensation, he focused today's meditation on the internal, delving deep into his own emotions.
