Making trouble in the neighbourhood [D0, Mid-Evening]

[Ikkit the Bastard]

Ikkit snorted in what seemed to be laughter, then spat.

These two idiots deserved each other, thinking they could get away with such blatant disrespect after he'd been so polite as to warn them- and now they were just back to bleating about how awful he was instead of doing anything about it. They wouldn't fight, they wouldn't leave, and they seemed to think what they said mattered, even after he'd gone out of his way to make it clear.

If they hung around the Hive much longer, they'd be leaving it feet-first, that much was pretty clear to him.

He muttered something, and made a gesture with his hands, and things got very, very quiet where Fyne and Sings were sitting.

"Much better."

Not that they could hear him, of course. He glanced at Griffin, and actually tipped his hat.

"I stay here with these two berks, I might do somethin' you don't need."

He turned and walked out.

[OOC: Ikkit casts Silence centered on the ceiling above Sings' present location, then /exits]

[Fyne]

"Pretty sure casting spells at people they don't accept is against the law, shorty," he says after killing the spell immediately.

[Flession]

"Ahh, thank you for taking care of that, elf. Last thing I need is a gobbo causing the Hardheads to feel the need to come down here." Griffin didn't look too concern with Sings' cuts, after all, it was entropy and most other people in the bar end up with worse by the end of the night.

She slides him another drink. "On the house."

[Fyne]

"No problem. He seems like he'd probably be more fun if you get a few drinks in him," Fyne says, facetiously. "And I'm not trying to have a perfectly good night get silenced."

He takes a sip of his drink and pets Lirrax.

[Sings-With-Purpose]

"Eh, it's fine," She said as she looked at her injuries, healing them back up right quick with a light celestial touch. Handy that. "And thanks for that," she said toward Fyne.

"Don't rightly know what got into that feller. Folk usually react a little better to my words."

[Fyne]

"I liked your words. Been nice talking with you," Fyne says with a shrug. "Been nice to learn more about the city and the people in it."

[Sings-With-Purpose]

"Hey, no worries cutter," she says, giving him a smile, "Happy to help where I can. You seem to have a solid handle on the gist of it already, but if you ever feel like learning more of the chant, come find me. I ain't hard to find, just ask for me over at Chirper's or the Foundry. 'Course, the latter's likely to get you a recruitment pitch for the Godsmen. Not that it'd be a bad way to go all things considered, but I ain't trying to give you a recruitment pitch the way that feller seemed to think."

[Fyne]

"Unlike him, it wouldn't bother me. As long as I'm not being belayed onto a crew, it's not going to hurt my feelings if someone wants to talk up the things they like about their people." He says sipping his drink. "Because talking is pretty harmless most of the time."

[Sings-With-Purpose]

"Sure enough," she said with a nod,"I suppose folk like him are somewhat resentful of the factions. Ain't everyone who feels they belong in one, and while it's true the Lady's ultimately the one in charge, it's the factions that pretty much run everything. And not all of 'em are as kind or understand to the likes of him or the other folk here in the Hive."

She took a look at him, taking in his features. "So, I take it you've been about for a bit now yeah? Seen a bit of the dark of things? Got your feet steady yet?"

[Fyne]

"I haven't been around too long. Almost a month. But I grew up in a tyrannical society, broke free into some freedom, fought against the old place, and all that. So... I keep my point ears open for all the political stuff. It's important to understand the world you live in."

He smirks at her and takes a drink.

"Otherwise you end up under boot heels."
