Ikkit made a Priority Decision.

Chasing some violent spell-slinging arsehole into a building was a great way to end up in the dead-book.

And if the berk had been concerned with the corpse, well...

Best if it were secured, since ol' spellbow had been so insistent on finishing the mutilations.

Ikkit moved over to the body and started dragging it back toward the street.

You've somewhat secured the corpse and the one you've been hitting has gone into hiding. Who knows what else might happen?

The globe's eye turns down to glance at the body and the half-ripped-off jaw - a silly, at this time probably somewhat troubling smile fixed on the monodrone's lips. Ikkit, who's nearby, will hear some click-clack-clang-whirring going on at the background before their lanky legs bend a bit, then shoot the smiling copper-and-brass sphere floating towards the door the unknown offender's just scurried off to... stepping closer to the wall and trying to whirr quietly and keep out of sight of the berk inside, preferably.

---
OOC:
I left a question at the GM questions thread, but to get things moving, I'll go with an "if-then" post here.

I'd like to have Feature try to make sense of the whole 'getting a sod's jaw off' thing. Would an Investigation check (or maybe History or something else) be fitting for that? And does that take an action?

((GM edit))Quick History Lesson While Fighting For Your Life: 1d20+2 11

If an Investigation (or other skill) check takes an action, I'll use Feature's action for just that. I'll then float 30 feet up to the wall and closer to the door the guy went into, and use a BA to hide using the wall as cover (at least from anyone inside).

D2 EN - Racing into the Night, Round 2. Stealth! | 1d20+13 ⇒ 31

Then let's do it like this: if trying to make sense of the thing doesn't take an action, I'll use a Dash action to move by the door and take a look inside (60 ft should be just enough for that, by my calculation on the map!). If it does, I'll be by the wall about midway through. That way we can keep things moving!

((History could work in this instance, and skill rolls cost a action.))

You're not really sure why sod would do such a thing. Maybe a collector? You're a Bleaker and you've no doubt seen plenty of people do insane things over your time there.

OOC: Thought so! Here's the check, and Feature's halfway to the door and close to the wall then. I'm always trying to fish for Investigation rolls in most games since I'm not always sure where to fit those in even when I'm GMing XD

Fyne, moves to the body and stands over it, and stays ready in case the hooded figure returns. He can't see all the stealthy people running around. But he keeps his ears open in case he hears the fight picking back up.

Things happen happen on the mystery man's turn. Mysterious things.

Nothing any of you see, though.

Having started dragging the corpse and watching all these other loonies just standing around, Ikkit grumbles something under his breath in Goblin ("Just my luck to stumble across this with YOU berks") and keeps hauling the body away, moving at a pretty respectable clip for a 3'6" creature dragging a human corpse.

[Dragging the stiff another 17 feet or so, and if sightlines permit, taking a Bonus Action to Hide- and JESUS does Orokos like handing Ikkit 2s in this fight. That's a total of 15, good thing Gloom Stalkers are hard to see in the dark]
