Naila looks down at her latest manifesto, it was a masterpiece. Good enough, hopefully, to change her own mind about the Sign of One, or whoever's mind had put it all together at any rate.
Now she just had to get it printed and then it was off to change minds, including her own, maybe. The Signer Manifesto wrote: A spectre is haunting Sigil — the spectre of the Sign of One. All the powers of the planes have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Harmonium and Bleak Cabal, Independent and Renegade, fresh Berks and gnarled Cutters.
Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as Signer by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of our own minds, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?
Two things result from this fact:
I. The Sign of One is already acknowledged by all Sigil powers to be itself a power.
II. It is high time that Signers should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of the Sign with a manifesto of the faction itself.
To this end, Signers of various plaes have assembled in Sigil and sketched the following manifesto, to be published in the Common, Undercommon, Abyssal, Infernal, Celestial and Draconic languages.
