Gabriel raised an eyebrow. 'Sounds like a contentious situation...may I ask who your patron is exactly?" Wheels started turning in his horned head. "If you are ever in need of a change in...employment, I am happy to provide options."

"Patron as in... I'm a warlock. It's not exactly my boss, but it kind of is. And I honestly have no clue who they are. Just some powerful time creature that decided my life seemed like a nice pot to stir. So no matter what job I do, I still have to deal with them," he says.

"But I appreciate the offer. I am always open to jobs and work, as long as it's mostly harmless."

"Huh. I'm a warlock of Asmodeus, alongside being a champion of his. I get the details. That just sounds...weird. How'd you get up mixed in that?" He scratched his neck in thought, his eyes turning towards the smol dragon.

"Got accidentally shunted into the demiplane of time and they did some stuff. Then erased my memory. Now I have an acute sense for time and feel like I've forgotten eons. I sometimes have nightmares... or the elven equivalent, sort of like anxiety attacks while resting, that show me memories I don't remember. Just your standard fun stuff," he explains. "And I don't shy from talking about it because I hope someone will have answers someday."
