"Yeah..." Melting into her seat, Illi takes a sip of her drink, using her free hand to lightly bap in Cornelius' general direction. Please save me sweet cute goat. You are so precious you can make any situation bearable. She suddenly feels very tired. Shouldn't this drink be perking her up, not making her wanna take a nap?

"Who's a good goat? You are!" Cyprian smiles, "You should go play with the pretty purple girl."

He looks up at Thad. "You're right, and I'm open to suggestions." He laughs charmingly. "I've my lute here if you wish to play together?" He turns to Illi, "Do you have a preferred instrument miss?"

Cornelius spares a moment to look back at Illiam and recognizes her from the Festhall streets. Turning back to keep his watchful eye on the creature, he takes a few hops backwards until he is within arms' reach of the tiny dancer.

"What do you have there Miss Sings? It seems to have my little Cornelius rather worked up."

[Illiam'iira]

"I've my lute here if you wish to play together?" He turns to Illi, "Do you have a preferred instrument miss?"

Cornelius spares a moment to look back at Illiam and recognizes her from the Festhall streets. Turning back to keep his watchful eye on the creature, he takes a few hops backwards until he is within arms' reach of the tiny dancer.

Being complimented makes her blush furiously in a blast of sparkles she can't hide. "Singing, but I'm also proficient with the harp and panpipes." Cornelius gets a smile from the little drow, and soon she's papping and petting and scritching the kid with reckless abandon. It relaxes her. Within a minute Illiam'iira looks comfortable again. She's excited to hear about the critter in Sings' arms, too!

"This?" She chuckled slightly, patting the armadillo's back. "Some prime creature. It's a Carbuncle. Vicious little beasts, really."

They really were. In their own way. At least in so far as she understood. Though so far he'd not been a problem.

"I'm thinking of taking him with me over to Limbo, see if he finds that sort of thing entertaining."

"This?" She chuckled slightly, patting the armadillo's back. "Some prime creature. It's a Carbuncle. Vicious little beasts, really."

"Does he have a name? Do you have a name?" Illi chirps at the carbuncle.

[Sings-With-Purpose]

"Uh... I haven't really thought of one yet. I'm not really planning on keeping him around forever, after all."

The whole idea was to find somewhere to set him free, after all.

"A carbuncle, hmmm, I don't think I've seen one in Sigil... I wonder how they taste, I wonder if the Darkflame has tasted one before, I wonder what it would be worth to her?" He seems to drift off into thought for a moment. "Say, it'd be cruel to take the creature to Limbo. If you're gonna send if off to die, might as well make some jink off it. I might be able to negotiate a decent price for it if you'd leave with me for a bit... What has you going to Limbo anyways? Didn't I read something about some slaadi rampaging around there?"

"A carbuncle, hmmm, I don't think I've seen one in Sigil... I wonder how they taste, I wonder if the Darkflame has tasted one before, I wonder what it would be worth to her?" He seems to drift off into thought for a moment. "Say, it'd be cruel to take the creature to Limbo. If you're gonna send if off to die, might as well make some jink off it. I might be able to negotiate a decent price for it if you'd leave with me for a bit... What has you going to Limbo anyways? Didn't I read something about some slaadi rampaging around there?"

Illiam'iira looks like the saddest creature imaginable at the idea of the carbuncle dying. She does not want it to die. She wants to give it a hug so bad. And maybe cuddle it for awhile.
