"I'll come by then," he says with a nod.

"So, about the recorded last thoughts you requested I deliver. They did end up getting there on time but funny thing, someone must have overheard the delivery instructions and passed them on down the line because someone else ambushed me and took it off my hands. When I checked in to make sure it actually got delivered, it had. Sorry about that, though. Wasn't expecting someone to hijack the job. I did do some information gathering the day after in order to make up for my screw up though."

"This is unfortunate, but the most important thing is that it was delivered. I can compensate you for what you lost if you're in need." She paused to give him a chance to accept or reject her offer. "Have you found out anything new about Rhaunades' case?"

[Fyne]

"I haven't learned anything useful about that, no. I got caught up in something else. I mean, not that it's necessarily unrelated, but it's highly unlikely that it's related. Found some asshole in suicide alley mutilating a body, cutting off the jaw. Reported them. Didn't get a name so I've been calling them Hooded Perv. They were saying something about preserving some sort of balance or something."

"This -may- be related. Who was the victim, and what else can be said about the perpetrator?"

[Fyne]

"Not sure who the victim was. Still investigating. The murderer snatched the body before escaping even though we tried to keep it away. They were able to use powerful illusions and cast powerful necromancy spells and dimension door without using any words or somatic components, so I couldn't counter it. Pretty powerful stuff. But they were pretty arrogant and seemed to like showing off. Which is why I started calling them hooded perv, to piss them off, figuring their ego would hate it if they were suspected of being a necrophiliac."

Akh paused at that, wondering if she could infer something useful from the story.

[Fyne]

"I have a habit of trying to piss people off. I'm sure it'll get me killed someday," he replies with a shrug. He turns towards a building that has an apothecary looking sign.
