[D4 LA] The Man Kalamizov

[Illiam'iira]

Illiam'iira lets out a little sigh as she steps back into the Ubiquitous Wayfarer Inn. It's only been a few days but it feels like a lifetime -- Sigil has that effect, she guesses. Well. There'll be time to reminisce later. Right now there's more important matters to attend to.

Hopefully Kalamizov is here... hopefully. She scans the tavern for... what? God, just go ask Blackhome if he's here.

Hopefully Amelie shows up soon.

Arriving in short order, Amelie finds her way to the Wayfarer Inn as well. A part of town less familiar to her, she has nonetheless little difficulty in finding the place. Scanning the room for Illiam'iira, she is able to quickly spot her. Hard to miss, really. She offers a short wave before crossing the room to her.

"Amelie!" Illia chirps out, giving the woman a hug before standing up straight, all business-like... it's a little funny, with her. "Was just about to ask the innkeep where our man is. You didn't have a rough trip, did you?"

[Amelie Crane]

"No, fairly quiet day actually. Tell me some more about this man. I have missed some, being occupied with some other business around the city. What are we looking for?"

[Illiam'iira]

"Alright. So." Illi holds up two hands. Finger one goes up. "There's the killer who's been taking jaws, which the Harmonium and Mercykillers are already following, right? But then there's the Kadyx in the Slags," And she holds up another finger on the opposite hand, "Who's killing people left and right. I, uh... actually... stumbled upon one, yesterday," She mumbles. "This guy, Kalamizov, he's got an interest in the Kadyx, so I'm gonna tell him about what happened -- could you try and get information from him, too, what all he knows and such? And... if I give you a wink, distract him for a second so I can check him out?" Illi whispers that last part.

Oh no. Illia's got an interest in two murderers now.

"Once we get info from this guy, I wanna go talk with miss Akh, a lady who's been following the Kadyx, I think. And. Do you think you could get any files on killings blamed on the Kadyx? Ask around about it?"

[Amelie Crane]

"Yes, I'm familiar with that. I'm not sure it's necessarily connected, as removing jaws isn't entirely uncommon. It isn't unreasonable to find a connection though. If you point out the one to question, I'll see what we can get from him. As for files on other murders, I can sk around with the Harmonium and Mercykillers."

[Illiam'iira]

"Thank you!" She gives Amelie another hug. Ain't that she thinks they're connected, but, if she can get Amelie on the case, surely with her help they can track down the killer, 'cause Illi doesn't want any more people suffering. "Okay. I'm gonna ask the barkeep where he is!"

And with that she skips on over to do so!

Illiam had told them they wanted to meet one of the other Bleakers, and Feature said they'd be there as well.

It just took them a long while. Work at the gatehouse today was unexpectedly heavy, and made them feel strangely heavy inside for some reason.

But after a while, they did show up, silly smile on their face as usual, waving to Illiam as they came in, and soon to the unknown lady by her side as well, before hopping towards them.
