The details of the recording don't offer too many specific details about it. The person behind the recording isn't seen or even spoken to until the end. Although there are few things about it. The Cuprilach's actions are the most curious at the end: Talking to someone quietly while the others went off before the recording itself. He was a arrogant ass, as the two of you realize by now, but the actions of the individual piqued his interest, as well as the knowledge of the plan and what they would do with it. He may have been taunting him, of course, but who's to say, but it may be someone he acknowledged. Another Rilmani, perhaps?

More questions, sad to say, but at least it was clear that whomever recorded it was not known to anyone there beyond the Cuprilach, as the plan involved only the 3 of them. Likely was invisible during the whole thing.

When I encountered him in Suicide Alley, the way he got away was by a particular spell Mislead which renders the caster invisible while replacin' them with an illusory double. Could be the Silentblade we and the spellslinger and his 'prentice are seeing is an illusion whilst the real Silentblade's observin' from the sidelines. Maybe it's out of caution of the two or maybe it was to set up this little recordin'. Could be he did it to throw off anybody finds this or to get that message over to whoever watches. Leavin' breadcrumbs so we act the way the Rilmani want us to.

((That would be Rhaunades, yes, although this is not his recording. One could easily come to the conclusion, then, that he either didn't get around to it, there's another recording of this conversation, or that he lied about going to go do it))
