He had Tensar looking out for a suitable "face" for his Guild, he had Shemeshka essentially... indifferent to the effort, which was essentially where he wanted her. He had some recruits. He had the Guvners onboard, he had the legal permissions.
But he still had so much work to do.
And thus, Ikkit trundled along in the Great Foundry District, with a collection of handbills Smink had printed out for him, which he gave out to anyone who seemed likely to be either Guild material or simply might know someone who would be.
The Foundry produced a lot of waste after all, and few places in the Lower Ward would benefit more from a dedicated cleanup crew.
Ikkit's personal charm was no greater than it had ever been, but being a grimy trash-picker was less of a hindrance near the Foundry than it was in many parts of Sigil.
And besides, this gave him a chance to suss out any potential troublemakers when they'd have to deal with him, rather than one of his recruits. Ikkit the Bastard may have been smaller than most of these towering freaks, after all, but he was also not someone easily pushed around.
