Sigil five-0 [Pregame Early Afternoon] (Open)

[Desten Callor]

It was a day like any other Desten walked the streets of the Foundry district in the lower ward doing his part to maintain the thin veneer of safety and security in this place of chaos.

Today had been an average day, two pickpockets, a mugger and a man operating an unlicensed business on the streets. All but one had been dealt with without violence, the mugger tried to flee unfortunately. Desten had just dispatched his partner, a young, bright eyed woman with seemingly boundless energy. She was taking the mugger back to the jail to await trial for his crimes.

Now he walked the streets again, remaining vigilant to keep the citizens of Sigil safe.

[Dare Shah]

A person in full armor shows up, carrying a pannier filled to the brim with processed metal blocks. Bricks of copper, steel, and more unusual materials, the total weight of which they have a hard time managing, stumbling more than walking.

She nonetheless goes for a semblance of curtsey as she walks past the agent, almost tripping herself down in the process.

He watched them though his expression was hidden by a helm "Citizen are you in need of assistance?" He asked in a neutral voice "you pose a danger to yourself and others by overburdened yourself." He follows up.

She would be able to tell that his own full suit of armor was the product of artifice as well, not perhaps so advanced as he own but teeming with the arcane technologies all the same.

[Dare Shah]

"Lady Dare Shah, of the Shah family, pleased to meet you and very grateful of your kind offer, officer," answers a feminine, almost excessively so, voice from within the armor.

In no time at all, a hemp bag has been pulled out from a purse by the citizen's side, and roughly a third the load moved to this new container. The bundle is then handed to the guard.

"The carrying strength enhancers of my armor are performing way worst than expected. I'll have to check them later."

[Desten Callor]

The helmeted head nodded as the bag was taken "Desten Callor of no family of particular note. Measure of the Harmonium." He replied.

"Your armor is of artifice yes?" He asked mild notes of curiosity cutting through his usual deadpan.

[Dare Shah]

"Certainly. As the sixth century is around the corner, in a city with access to all the latest technologies, going for an old school armor when you can afford better sounds silly. Like wearing raw hide when you could just jump by the next shop to acquire proper clothes.

I guess that, when you are a veteran warrior with great confidence in your own fighting skills, you privilege reliability of your equipment over efficiency. But really, this is only an issue when you tinker excessively, as I must confess I have been doing as of late while trying to increase acid resistance by another threshold."

[Desten Callor]

He nods "I haven't done too much tinkering with my suit, I built it to solve a particular problem and combine with some magical items for ease of use. Beyond that I've done little in the way of improving it. Still learning this sort of thing."

[Dare Shah]

"Definitely wise not to tinker too much if you're not sure what you're doing. A faulty contact somewhere and suddenly you take an arcanic discharge at the closest range possible.

Desten took the card and scanned it briefly nodding "I....suppose I could at the least have someone to consult. I am primarily self taught in these matters."

"Not an easy subject to learn by yourself. How did you proceed? Books? Existing model to dismantle and analyze? Some sort of divine aspiration?"
