Tensar’s Employment Services: Honest work for honest people.
Lazz School of Vivid Unpleasantness: The Lazz School can be seen as a stark counterpoint to the expressionistic beauty of the Civic Festhall. The building features an alien architecture filled with improbable angles, ugly iron blades and spikes jutting out in all kinds of directions, randomly and without purpose. The school caters to those Cagers who prefer controversial forms of expressionism – it’s frequented by Chaositects, Indeps and Bleakers, and despised by Hardheads and Guvners.
Black Wind Tavern: Tastefully decorated with violet tapestries and enderpine paneling (showing off the fine grain of this smooth, hard, black wood from Krigala), enforces a strict policy of silence; a berk who speaks is shown the door.
Singing Vortex: Known for its friendly crowds and pricey fruit drinks. Ciphers tend to gather here.
Fat Candle Inn: Those desiring a bit more privacy might consider here, aptly named since a candle the size of a tree trunk in the center of the room is the only source of light. The place's so dark it's hard to tell what's in your cup, let alone who's sitting next to you.

Population: 17,020
Social Class: Middle class
Character: The buildings in this district are geared more towards labor than thought – smaller guildhalls and shops lying close to the Guildhall Ward.
District Type: Worker’s district
Buildings: Average trades, Poor trades, average services, poor services, average residences, average lodgings, temples
First Impressions: The ordered streets of the Clerk’s Ward differentiate this worker’s district from the rest of the Guildhall Ward beyond.

Most of the lower ranking clerks, craftsman, and common laborers of the ward, those without rank, wealth, or both, tend to settle in the aptly named Workers District. This large district, roughly downward of the blue and green painted Hull Road opposite the Festhall District, is filled largely with small, single family kips and larger but clean and well-kept tenements. The place is orderly enough compared to the Hive, which is too easily within walking distance for most workers, but it lacks the luxuries common to the homes in the Administrators District.
