Before they would tighten access policies after the recent heist, Akh Uur Hoon hastened to capitalise on the grace granted for the cleaners-up and seek out information in the Hall of Records. The list of queries she wanted to address was substantial, which was another reason to be speedy about it.

She was now a Dustwoman of good standing so perhaps there wouldn't be too much problem with accreditation?

Everyone appears to be on edge and with everyone eyeing all the Non-Fated and, let's face it, other Fated as well they wander the halls putting in their requests for information. Even with a break-in, though, they still were acting busy around the halls. Still, they would still honor your request from the Guvners (likely after some form of payment from them) for today and allow you quick access to the bottom of their records to search for whatever it is you wish to search

Several Harmonium and Fated are around you and anyone else down here searching for answers, as they are still investigating the results of the break-in down here, but business must continue despite their own problems.

Tax Day was closing in, after all.

Given the rather explosive convolution of circumstances, Akh decided to be expeditious about her research, prioritising the most important query: what opened the portal to the Layer 348 in the inn.

Apparently, fast meant no-good. Akh wasn't able to find anything. It was time to go ask around for professional help.

Fortunately, there were plenty of people around who you could ask for this precise information. Unfortunately, they're likely going to be Fated and it won't be free.

Well, so the real question was whether their help would be within Akh's budget. She was determined to get this through though, so she started asking.

It's not hard to find someone around to help you with it. And asking just for a small pittance of 20 gold, they will gladly point you in the direction of the portals and their keys.

This was an acceptable fee. Akh wasn't too prideful to ask for a fellow scholar's help if she was failing. She explained what portal key details she was looking for.
