''Lady Tomay might have an idea of were to start beside your libraries. I could do some research as well but my time is not infinite either''

His eyes widen in hope, "You are quite kind to offer. And naturally I'll pay for whatever time you can spare. And this lady Tomay you've mentioned. Simply point me in her direction and I'll make my own introduction if needs be."

He nodded and absorbed all the information that came his way. Slow as he is he still listened intently and learned what he could. If for no other reason than self-preservation.

"I am rather curious what exactly binds you all together? What is your specific philosophy, the Free League? Is it only mutual independence, or is there more to it?"

''She is on stage now'' they told the minstrel without much consideration ''We believe in freedom, personal and communal. We have our ways to definite it and how it is best implemented but that core always is true.''

After a few moments of prep, the blonde woman begins to clear her throat and begins. "Going to start this session off with a little song I picked up from a traveler here. Hopefully you all enjoy it."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath and muttered some words while holding some green dust and a bit of fleece before two copies of herself appeared standing next to her, each of them standing still one holding holding a wooden flute and a drum.



As she began to strum her lute, the other illusions came to life to add into it, each of began to play their instrument after the first as if on cue as she became her own band for the performance. All eyes were on her for the performance, as they were most days she did it. Her voice glowed and for a long moment, the shyness she tended to express went away, expressing a larger sentiment of confidence and enjoyment as she sang along with herself, harmonizing with the illusions at the right point to add a haunting effect to her own voice, as if she were echoing.

The song eventually came to a end, and with it, her meekness returned as the tavern began to applaud her performance as she bowed politely at the response. A minute later, the two illusions vanished, leaving just her there as she began to prepare for another song.

[Cyprian Kircheis]

Cyprian turned his head to the stage just in time to see the formation of her little band. A unique idea that he was ashamed to say he'd never thought about. But from the start he found himself enthralled by the tapestry of sound she so deftly wove. The performance was exemplary, and at songs end he was as slack jawed as the rest.

"Bravo!" He shouted, rising with the applause.

[Whisper]

Hush wagged his curly tail as the song began.

"Mostly, we keep ourselves free of thhe politics and dogma the othe Factions impose on those they believe to be under their authority." Whisper said as the applause faded. "She keeps us united."

L'Orr-hui did a polite applause to respect the decorum of using hand slaps to express enjoyment of a decent performance.

She took a minute for her to recover before casting the same spell once more, popping out more copies of herself. They once again stood silently as she began, the cue obviously being her to begin performing. She reached over and grabbed some mead before heading back to the center of the room. "Little brighter tune, this one. Not just about telling tales of people who have come here and their heroics and falls. Have to have a hobby, you know." Bria chuckles a bit. "About romance and all that and...well, I'll leave the rest to your own interpretation."



Bria once again played and sang in tune with the illusions of herself, keeping up with it like the expertise, and as the song ended, she once again bowed and . "Well...that's about as many times as I can cast that spell today, so I'm going to take a small break before I go back and play some things a little bit less flashy. Thank you."

She bowed again and strapped her lute to her back before making her rounds across the table with the twins not too far behind. Eventually, though, she will make her way over your table and greetings. "L'Orr! Good to see you out and about. How's business? Whisper! Hunting life's good?" It was quite apparent she was forcing herself to make small talk with you all, as she did with most others she dealt with, though it was not from any apparent distaste of the company.

She grinned and looked to the other apparent bard in the table. "See you've found some company this evening. Welcome, stranger. First time at the tavern?"

[Cyprian Kircheis]

With that he jumped up and bowed, "Cyprian Valdemar Kircheis," he beamed. "It is indeed, and what a treat. Yours was a most magnificent performance my lady. Consider me a newfound admirer."

Once pleasantries are exchanged, regardless of how feeble, he'll continue.

"Please, won't you and your companions join us? There's ample room to accommodate everyone. Your fellow guildmates here were just telling me all about your guild and your city." Without waiting for a reply he would begin making room for everyone.

''Good evening Lady Tomay'' the illithid replied with a light head bow as a sign of respect ''The business doing acceptably given it's purpose, thank you for inquiring. Very astute use of magic for your performance, I must say.''

It was with a measure of amusement that they observed Cyprian gush over the Free League's Factol

''Cyprian here is freshly arrived from his home plane'' they added ''Appeared throught the broom closet a quart of an hour ago. Whisper and I are doing our best to instruct him in the way of the city''
