[D3 EE, Lady's Library, Expecting] Research Time

[Fyne]

Fyne decided that he may have better luck researching extraplanar arcana of time in Sigil than he did on Toril, so he makes his way to the library to see if he can find tomes on beings that have particularly strong connections to time. Perhaps he can identify what kind of being his patron is. He assumes they're not a god because they'd probably have just hijacked his divine connection and allowed him to use his previous understanding of magic rather than reworking his entire mind. But he also assumes it's probably not something that's motivated by worldly concerns. Otherwise it would probably be giving him direct orders or expectations that Fyne can understand rather than playing some sort of long con. It was a confusing mess and he means to un-confuse himself as best he can. He's reading a book on the basics of chrono-manipulation at the moment, trying to see if there are any creatures listed that seem to have particular talent with such things.

[Dare Shah]

A quite tired Dare, almost to the point of being disheveled (almost!), was pacing through the library, a small piece of cloth in hand, skimming through various books about the many materials used in weaving through the planes.

Upon taking notice of Fyne, she swiftly moved by his side:

"Good day to you mister Fyne," she says softly as to not bother the other patrons of the library. "Would you have a minute or two to help me with a small thing?"

[Fyne]

"Sure thing. You look concerned over something. What can I help with?" He asks.

[Dare Shah]

"I found this during the aftermath of this morning chaos, seemingly cut straight from a coat or cape by a teleportation trap."

She hands him the piece of cloth.

"No idea who it might have belonged to. Got curious however, as it's not something I'm used to work with and it has remarkable mechanical properties. So far my investigation points to it being drider silk, though I would welcome a second opinion on the matter."

"Let's see if I can figure it out. I'll get it back to you after I can investigate further," he says as he inspects it. "How have you been since yesterday? Learn anything new about the prophecy?"

[Dare Shah]

"That wild goose hasn't been chased any further, no. Day has been quite busy due to the whole chaos incident, which, as you might have guessed, hasn't been appreciated at all by the Fraternity. This is my first break since I woke up this morning actually."

[Fyne]

"Yeah, they've been making a mess. I helped out a bit with it earlier. It seems like they are trying to pick a fight with everyone. Almost as bad as the Anarchists," he says, shaking his head.

[Dare Shah]

"Let's not push it. I fear more one anarchist with a knife than ten self proclaimed agents of chaos slinging advanced spells. The inconsistent nature of the later means there's a good chance they'll squander that power in petty mischief, while the former has enough drive to do a lot of damages with very little."

[Fyne]

"Well, I guess the agents of chaos don't really have an very defined agenda either," he says with a nod.

He looks over the piece of cloth and Lirrax goes flying into the library to hunt down a tome.

[Dare Shah]

"I feel like, for most of these pseudo-Chaos people, this is mostly a cruel game, and they would be the first distressed if their actions did lasting damages to their playground.

But enough talked about these miscreants. How was your day? What's your occupation actually? Last time we met, conversations about prophecies, princesses and portals did sidetrack us a bit from these basic information."
