"I'm not expecting anyone else," he says with a shrug, mostly ignoring Thaddeus. "Found out that Ank Ur Hoon can't look at my memories with her abilities. Apparently I'm not dead enough. So this is my only active path. Also... the herbs became... unnecessary. I don't actually need to sleep anymore for some reason. Probably my patron."

"Guess that checks out, he did talk 'bout hiring an investigator for the deader in Suicide Alley. That'd be you then... Unless the berk went and found another unsolved murder to investigate.

But yeah, I can keep it professional. I think he just got a bit offended when I left with some jink he was talking 'bout turning over to the Hardheads. I went back and split it once I knew they weren't going to throw it away like that."

"Ended up finding out the Rilmani were responsible for the dead man. Don't know specifically who the killer was, but the Rilmani apparently seek some sort of balance," Fyne replies.

[L'Orr-hui]

''Pertubing'' they commented before returning to the matter at hand

''If we wait for no one then let's open the portal to Candlekeep. We should appear between the first and second gate...and the guards won't like it.''

[Thaddeus]

"Yeah, I could've told you it was Rilmani, a Cuprilach assassin to be specific. That's actually how I met up with L'Orr here. I was in the library doin' some research on our friend."

"I'll do my best to be extra friendly."

After using a few items, Thad stows them away in his bag and double checks his equipment. Hoisting up Cornelius, he slips him into a small pocket in his cloak, "Stay hidden for now little one."

Fyne shrugs, ready to go. They were returning to his home plane and he was comfortable with that. "You have the gift for the Avowed, right? Been by Candlekeep before, though I never sought entry. The priestess that got me out of Ched Nasad gave them a spell book stolen from an Archmage of Menzo. Good times."

[Thaddeus]

"I see." Thad says, winking at the drow.

Then he takes a step forward and offers his hand, "Well, looks like we're goin' to be workin' together again a bit. The name's Thaddeus."

[L'Orr-hui]

''Yes'' the trio was now linked with telepathy ''I have an essai on ceremorphosis which should be enough''

The illithid produced two portal keys

''I know Ser Thaddeus was busy in the afternoon so I took liberty of getting another key in the event that we choose to leave at different times. I probably will stay longer. Ser Thaddeus, do you know what to expect from Candlekeep?''

[Thaddeus]

"'Preciate that." He accepts the portal key from L'Orr and secures it in a pouch attached to his belt.

"From Candlekeep, not as such. I've been to the Prime a few times, but never there."

[Fyne]

"I'm okay with spending the day there. Doesn't bother me. I can be a research assistant if you need. I know my way around a library, I just don't have the natural talent for study that others do."

He offers a hand to Thaddeus eventually, "Fyne is my name."
