"Perhaps if it was the Mortuary was attacked, you'd be feelin' your fair share of anger too. I know you Dusties see death differently than us, but think of all that would've been lost if the Festhall and the Sensoriums were destroyed.

I don't hold this 'gainst all Bleakers. Think I just made a friend 'mong them recently in fact. If it was Ridnir did this, that goes beyond faction.

Trust that I'll keep my composure. Right up 'til it's time to not."

"Oh, I would do something about it just like I did in the Festhall regardless of how my words on True Death had been met with ridicule. Shedding the redundant decorations of life is only natural, but no-one should be afflicted by a death so tragic and remorseful that it complicates their afterlife. So anger? No. But resolve I can understand."

She nodded. "Yes, it may all go beyond factions. It doesn't mean, however, that we should dismiss the leverage we just might have. I've been a community worker in the Hive too."

Having checked if everyone was ready to proceed, Akh approached the door to the infirmary and knocked.

The door is knocked, but no one responds. You're all standing there for a few minutes, waiting for something until a homeless man comes up into the building, coughing into his sleeves and opens the door in front of you, displaying a much more improved scene than the one outside. Obviously the the foyer, the inside boasts a oak-paneled walls, a polished tile floor, and a smiling half-elf from afar waving the gentlemen forward all to come in from his marble stone desk as the door closes in front of you.

Thaddeus leans forward, opens the door, and holds it open for the rest. "After you."

Cyprian thanks L'Orr for the concern before casting 'See Invisibility' and stepping forward.

"You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir." Cyprian tips his hat to Thaddeus, entering after Akh. He's immediately on the lookout for anything out of the ordinary.

"Hi there!" He says charmingly to the receptionist, "We're here to see the good doctor Tetch!"

The gentleman looks at you and goes back to the old man he is busily checking in, getting his personal information, medical history, et cetera. It's a long standard, boring process, much like having to staying and wait for someone at the Hall of Records.

Still, your turn comes next as the sick man scuttles off into a seat as she stares at those who arrive into the building. "Of course we ca--oh, I'm sorry, the doctor does not treat Mind Flayers, mostly since he's more familiar with humanoid anatomy. Now, he could have removed the tadpole within the skull, of course, but it does appear the transformation processes has since taken its course. Is there something else I can help you with, then?" He continues his friendly smile at the lot of you, although avoiding his eyes at L'Orr-hui, as he was obviously far beyond a cure, and therefore, not a concern.

The illithid politely refrain from commenting, keeping their senses alert.

They hoped the matter would resolve itself quickly...

Cyprian laughs, "No, no, no, we aren't in need of his medical expertise. Rather we're here on official business." He motions to L'Orr, "This gentleman represents the interests of the Free League," He motions to Thaddeus, "this fine gentleman represents the Society of Sensations, and the lady and I are here on behalf of the Dustmen."

He beams. "Would you be so kind as to direct us to his office?"

He keeps his smile on his face and stares at you keeping his polite tone. "That's all well and good, sir, but unfortunately, solicitations and insights about the doctor's findings are to be inquired directly to the Fated, as they are helping fund this place to help fund his research. Otherwise, the doctor is currently quite busy with his patients, as well as his injuries from the other day. If you're not here for medical treatment, then I must ask you speak to the Fated as directed."

D7. Dustie Task: Persuasion. Cyprian leads, Akh supports. DC16.: 2d20k1+12 30

Akh built on Cyprian's charm. "And yet the doctor is a member of the Bleak Cabal, whose practice-infusing doctrines are quote convergent with those of the Dead. Besides, I am a doctor, soon-to-be Factor, and a voice for the downtrodden and the bereft, so I consider the good doctor a colleague and a comrade. In such spirit, I would consider the official channels quite redundant for a little chat between kind-minded individuals."
