[Sings-With-Purpose]

T'was bolder and bolder, going back to some of her old haunts, but it'd been fine thus far. Besides, any folk she'd have cause to be worried about weren't much likely to go wandering the streets around the Festhall, would they? Leastwise not as some casual jaunt, anyhow. So she might as well ply her talents there, delivering the good news about how you too can become a God and what not. What do you mean, I'm busking on sensate turf? Ain't no turf when it comes to art, luv!

The carbuncle was there too, sitting next to her as she played at passerby's. Alas, today was one of the rare few days where her performance was merely *adequately good* instead of the stunningly talented fare she usually offered up. This was literally the worst day since yesterday.

[Flession]

There seems to be not much of a crowd. Granted, with everything going with the cleanup from the Chaosmen, likely there's no time for them to enjoy your hip and catchy tunes on the street corner. You were not the problem today, naturally, but everyone else. Especially the Xaositects.

Maybe what they did yesterday bothered you some more, or you were exhausted from the cleanup you did earlier in the morning.

The carbuncle emotions had been rather placated these past few days, surprisingly. It would make anyone wonder what that adventurer's group problem was, really. As the potential goddess you were are going to be, that gem would be a shining beacon to your amazing nature. A deed worthy to be remembered. Though, you seem to have one potential fan still lingering about, though she seems to be just staring at you than anything.

[Sings-With-Purpose]

She scratches the carbuncle on the head, looking at the creature with some mild residual confusion over how her magic had failed to let her speak to the beast. It didn't *seem* like it was anything other than an animal, and that being the case it ought to have worked. It was a question that had been on the back of her mind for a bit now, these past couple of days.

Purely on a hunch, she did the thing her mentor had shown her how to do... to feel the presence of *divinity*, not really expecting anything to come of it as she peered at that Carbuncle.

[Sense Divinity]

It was only right as she was doing this, that she became aware of a fan lingering in the periphery of her vision. Assuming the Carbuncle didn't turn out to be a god in disguise or anything, which was unlikely given this was the Cage, she would look to the lingering fan with a smile. And well, if it was some kind of proxy or avatar or whatever, she'd stare at it in confusion for a moment and *then* look toward the lingering fan.

[Flession]

The Carbuncle, while it may view itself as a sort of god with its massive ego and entitlement to be constantly entertained, did not seem to have any spark of divinity within it. The person watching you, however, did show herself to be a cleric. Though of what, you're not entirely sure, the robes she wears seem to be wear sort of cover any of the telltale sings of a cleric. Holy symbol, armor, preachiness of the glory of their god or goddess...that sort of thing.

Still, she sat there watching you. There is a sense that she wishes to approach, but seems rather shy about it.

"Hey there cutter!" Sings calls out to her with a friendly wave, "Hope my performance wasn't too grating on the ears today, I don't rightly know why I didn't keep more of you around. Might need to retune the bandore I suppose."

[Flession]

"It was fine. I'm just not used to hearing such a style before." She says, approaching you ever so closely. "I wouldn't do that. Just have to keep working hard on it; you'll get the audience liking your style in no time!" The woman nods her head as she gets there, affirming something that was racing thru her mind, but seems to get distracted by your pet aardvark.

"What...what is that?"

She chuckled at the kind words. They were well-meant, it seemed. But of course, Sings already had a bit of a name to her out there. It was just that 'there' wasn't 'here', it seemed. Honestly, today had just been a bad day.

"This little feller?" she smiles as she looks at the woman, "This here's a carbuncle, or so I figure. Some prime creature that likes to be entertained and is supposedly a lot of trouble. So far he's been downright lacking in the trouble department though."

[Flession]

"Well, that's good. Nobody likes unnecessary burdens and troubles, especially when they're unexpected...yeah." She said, looking sideways at the floor before motioning down to attempt to pet the creature, which it allows her the honor to scratch its ears and is pleased by the experience.
"Well, it's good to venture out, I guess. I assume...I assume you're the type that likes to venture out, then."

[Sings-With-Purpose]

"Suppose I am," she answered back, "The Cage is home and all, but don't know many cutters who live here for long and not see some of the planes. Can't say I've seen 'em all though, of course. Far too much to see for that, but I get about when the fancy strikes me or the Godsmen call on me."

The aasimar smiles as the carbuncle gets given scritches, a good sign in a stranger, such simple kindness.

"Name's Sings-With-Purpose, incidentally. Don't usually perform around this ward."

[Flession]

She smiles and extends her hand to yours. "Sign-Of-Malady." The woman smiles. "Don't be offput by the name. It's sort of a title within my order. On account of what I do."



"Listen, to be honest, I've been watching you, actually just stumbled across you, really...but on account of being me...I could just tell almost immediately about the way you look." She opens her eyes wide a little. "Listen..." She tops herself a little, a little bit hesitant to continue, but fortifies her will to continue. "I have to tell you something. It's probably not something you're probably going to want to hear, but it's important that you hear it."
