Dead on the Job [EE1]

Worried if she wasn't there past the opening hours, Akh Uur Hood had been held up at the Mortuary but now was rushing toward Tensar's office to deliver the credentials Dhall had filled out for her.

[Flession]

The office is empty as you enter. The office is mostly silent before Tensar enters from the back line. "Oh, you're here. I saw your friend earlier, and I see you wasted no time in doing it. I like enthusiasm!" Tensar nods and approaches you, either to extend his hand to you in greeting, after which, changes it to grab the forms from you.

"I tend to be task-oriented." She passed the form and waited patiently for the assessment of her credentials.

[Flession]

He nodded and began to read everything scanning it all for anything of note or interest. Takes him a few minutes to go thru everything, not really giving any sort of reaction. "Alright, let's go do the interview process. Be the last one of the day for me, so follow me and we'll make this as quick as possible so we're both out before supper." He says with a large grin, patting his belly. "I'm a man who enjoys his meals, if you could not tell."

"And I am a woman who doesn't pay that much attention to them, as you can surely tell, but who respects the rules of the house." The skinny Dustwoman smiled politely. "I am fine with a quick conversation."

[Flession]

"Excellent." With that, he leads you into his office.

It's a rather quaint office with a comfortable chair facing a desk, no doubt his. He motions for you to sit down at the chair you to sit in the chair, but leaves the door behind you still open for the moment.

(Passive Investigation passed: You notice, underneath the chair he asked you to sit in, there is a glyph of warding drawn underneath it.)

"And the glyph is a precaution of what kind, if I may ask?" She smiled gently before sitting, her Illumian glyphs dancing around her head.

"OH!" He seems shocked at your statement, then moved to a smile. "You're do have a sharp mind about you. I was going to bring it up to you before we begun." His stance still as friendly as it was, even after the revelation. "There's a zone of truth spell inside the ward that I activate during the interview to ensure the proper answers are given. Are you familiar with the spell?"

"I am familiar with many spells but I have learned to cast only a few, this one not among them. But I know how it works." She sat in the chair, keeping her polite smile. "It's fine, as a principle I avoid falsehood."

[Flession]

"Excellent. Don't worry about a thing, this isn't going to be some Harmonium investigation. People tend to lie about things when it comes to interviews, so I do this as a precaution. It is my reputation, after all, and I want to make sure those I send to work are the people they say they are. If you feel unnerved or anything, please speak up."

With that, he grabs your paperwork and looks it over once more before stating the next words clearly. "Let's begin the interview, then."

The floor underneath you begins to glow as the glyphs shine brightly, encompassing you.

"Are you actually Akh Uur Hoon?"
