Each PC gets the monetary reward, factionless are the only ones that get renown awards from my understanding. and I figured the monetary reward was limited to one set of rewards per roll regardless of if it's assisted or not.

Upon further clarification, there is no personal charge from Fyne because everyone gets full monetary reward. If you don't have advantage it's worth hiring someone, because you get advantage and both characters get the full monetary reward. No loss, only gain.

It seems that I need to state the obvious: your class abilities, spells, etc, that can improve the rolls you make can and probably should be applied to your rolls.
