“Yes, just fine. Though your mother was rather worried when you did not arrive in Myth Dranor. It took some tracking to find you. It was after that she asked Viscard to send me to look after you. He wanted to send my brother but, as usual, your mother was very persistent that it be me.”

"I have. As I said, I am not too long in this place, but I have fallen in with a faction known as the Mercykillers. Potent name, but a just cause I believe. I've found a place to stay near their headquarters in the Lady's Ward. It's been largely quiet, apart from a recent investigation in the Clerk's Ward. Probably not something you'd have too much interest in."

She blinks, but otherwise doesn't seem too surprised. "Oh, uhm... I met a tiefling named Gabriel who was investigating something there..." Illi moves to sit at Amelie's table. (Or rather she gets comfy, her elbows resting on the table as she lays her chin in her hands.) "I mean, I wouldn't mind hearing about it, and everything you've been up to. And I can tell you bout what I've been up to!"

Taking her seat once more at the little table where her tea still rested, Amelie motioned to the adjacent seat as Illi sat and got comfortable.
"Set, let us talk. Gabriel .. I have met him. The other Mercykiller on the investigation, I believe. I have not yet had much chance to speak with him. As for what I've been up to, I do not much too much more to share than what I have already. I would be interested to hear what you have gotten up in such a short time here, little Illi."

Illi rarely had trouble acclimating to such things. She hums happily as she leans over to rest against Amelie, little legs kicking up n down as she nuzzles the woman. "Mmhmm! I always do!" Like a happy little dog she sighs, content. "What tea would you recommend?"

A bit of a frown spreads over Amelie’s lips, pursing the corners as her brow furrows.
“You know honestly I do not know. Every time I have come here I just ask for a pot of white tea. It is quite nice, but I have never looked at any other offerings. So I suppose you could inquire if you wished. And of course you are welcome to some of my pot, though it has begun to grow a bit cold for my liking.”

"Let me fix that for you, dear." Illiam'iira first waves her hand over Amelie's cup to heat her tea, then lifts the lid off her teapot to do the same for it. "I'll be right back!"

And so she hops up to go order some tea. In a minute Illi returns with a teacup and a smile. "I'm getting rose tea! And cookies!" She plops back down into her seat. "Whatcha readin'?"
