"To the City of Doors!" He echoes, taking a swig from his oversized cup before offering the same to Cornelius on his shoulder. "I'm glad for the turnout, things are beginning to liven up. It's 'bout time to really kick off the festivities. I'll be back." With that, Thaddeus excuses himself and makes for the stage, grabbing a haunch of meat off a carving table and filling his cup from a pitcher of spring wine.
Without warning, prismatic light illuminates the sky above the amphitheater from a salvo of fire flowers bursting in quick succession.
A melody spreads across the amphitheater, focusing the attention back down to the stage. There, in the center, Thaddeus stands tall with the symbol of the Society of Sensation emblazoned behind him.
In a booming voice he calls out, “Welcome! Tonight we celebrate Savorus! Tonight we celebrate the sexcentennial of this grand Festhall!” With his right hand he raises a shank of some large beast and rips off a chunk of the roasted meat with his teeth, with his left he brings up an earthenware scyphus and drinks from it greedily, wine spilling around the sides and down to stain his pristine white toga. Holding the two high in the air he declares,
“LET THE BACCHANALIA COMMENCE!”

Six charges from the Wand of Pyrotechnics for the fireworks, then casting Unearthly Chorus from the stage and Thaumaturgy through a tattoo to project his voice. Prestidigitation to put up the symbol of the Sensates. Prestidigitation after to clean the wine off his toga.
