[Thaddeus]

Thaddeus strolls through the Marble District, waving to a cutter he recognizes standing outside the Minder's Guild and then ducking behind some passerbys to avoid another familiar face outside Zero's. It was a walk down memory lane. After working his way up a bit, he'd escaped the Slags and made his way into the Marble District. The take was much more lucrative here and he'd even gotten some of his first legitimate jobs through the Minder's Guild. But all in all, it was just another stepping stone left behind.

Finally, Thad stood in front of Sister Cade's church. It was a bit of a long shot, but there weren't any other leads to follow. He waits a few minutes for the others to arrive.

A dark cloak had been used the previous day to obscur their identity, now it was mostly because their were now weary of the weather. The climate seemed so suspiciously good...

At any rate...here they were and Thaddeus was easy enough to find

Akh appeared as well, quietly so, with a polite nod to both. She wasn't entirely convinced of her continued usefulness given she had told them both everything she knew on the matter, and she wasn't exactly a stellar negotiator, as proven the day before. The illithid likely surpassed her in both arcane knowledge and magical abilities. She more or less knew how to move around the Hive though, maybe that could help in something.

As you enter into the building, your eyes gaze upon the scenery before you. The temple was once likely looked to once have had better years is now covered in razorvine and surrounded by boxes full of items. A bald woman in robes quickly rushes to you all as you enter with a bright, beaming smile upon her face and a holy symbol bearing that of a harp is front and center. "Finder's blessings be upon you!" Her smile shown bright and the otherwise paranoid nature of today's perfect weather was not made immediately apparent, though she does seem to give some cautious glances at the Mind Flayer as he approached. "What is it that I can help you with today?"

Thaddeus looks around to see if he can figure out who or what Sister Cade was worshipping these days. Hearing her benediction he wonders, could it be the Nameless Bard? What self-respecting bard in Sigil, or at least those among the Sensates who had access to Arborea, didn't know the story of Finder Wyvernspur. The bard who slew Moander and claimed his divinity for himself. One of the few Powers brave enough or foolish enough to enter Sigil under the watchful eye of the Lady, and lucky enough to make it back out.

A very fitting power to follow for the Chaosman Sister with her reputation. Maybe this one will stick.

Giving his most friendly and outgoing smile, Thaddeus greets Sister Cade, "Good mornin' to you Sister. We've come to beseech your help. A very important tome has gone missin' recently, near Suicide Alley. By the graces of the Nameless Bard, has it found its way to your church here?"

Sister Cade stares at you with a smile. "Ahh, you know of the god of Reckless Fools. Perfect! His story has always been one I've found inspirational and well meaning. To lose his name and his songs, his very art and purpose of being, only to not only restore it, but to become a Power is quite the inspirational tale. In fact, I've been trying my hand at some transformative art of late, based upon his nature to try to shake up the artistic slog we sometimes find ourselves in on our creative endeavors." There is a easel over nearby her and her clothes are slightly colored with paint.

As she looks at Thaddeus' request, she keeps her smile and nods along. "By all means, if you've lost something, feel free to search. Hopefully thru his grace you may find the book you are seeking. I couldn't tell you where most of this stuff was located. But the books are over there at the corner." She motions to her left at the end of the wall with several bookshelves worth of books and tomes.
