[Thaddeus]

First thing in the morning, Thaddeus heads over to the Lady's Ward to see a seer. He could feel they were drawing nearer to the codex and he wanted a little insight into the possible futures.

Reaching the fountain, the weather outside was delightful... a terrible omen for the day. He watches as others make their way to the waters, take a ladle, and drink of the fountain's bounty under the perceptive ears of Black Marian.

Waiting for his turn, Thad says a prayer to the Great Khan for Guidance. Feeling optimistic, the satyr steps up to the fountain and brings a full ladle to his lips and drinks deeply.

Illi, skipping around wishing her friends well, stops to give her regards to Thaddeus. Gingerly she makes a come-hither motion for the satyr to lean down before giving him a kiss on the cheek and dancing around him!

"Good luck! I bet you'll have great fortune!"

Cyp showed up despite feeling quite low from yesterday. He didn't much like fortune tellers - after all he too had been a con-artist once upon a time in Zobeck. First comes the negative fortune, then one pays out the butt to avoid the fortune by seeking the teller's 'wisdom'. It's all a scam so why is he here?

In a word, Illiam. She had pestered him into coming.

"Good morning Thaddeus, Illi." He said groggily despite his mug of coffee.

"Hi Rian!" Illi gives him a wave. "You get your fortune yet?"

"Not yet, no."

Cyprian moves up the line to Illi netting him quite a few dirty looks. "I'm just going to talk to my friend! I promise to move back once the line begins moving." He says to the angry fortune-goers.

"Honestly," he says turning back to Illy. "Born suckers, the lot of them." He gives Illi a side hug. "Thank you for helping Akh and me by the way. Hopefully today's journey will be the last."

[Whisper]

Whisper was as unconcerned with his future as he was with his past. But, there had been enough discussion about both over the past week for him to consider taking a drink. Maybe it would provide some guidance or inspiration..

Maybe he'd just overthink it.

"Hey! I'm one of them suckers too!" She sticks her tongue out at Cyprian even as she hugs him. "I'm just glad it worked out so well." Illi waves at Whisper before giving a long sigh. "'Sides, I am a little curious 'bout this lady... I wanna see how good she is!"

"There is that I suppose..." he half smiled. "Anything new?" He took another sip of his coffee while giving a wary look at the sky. Veteran cagers might be suspicious of the nice weather, but to him it's just too bright. At this hour the sun should be below the horizon.

Akh Uur Hoon was also drawn to the commotion, seeking out Cyprian. She appeared out of the blue, creeping like death onto the gathering.

"What is this about?"

When she realised what was going on, an urge pushed her to engage Black Marian... A powerful seer seemed like one of very few opportunities to give her a chance at finding a pathway toward the reintegration of her soul. She asked for her fortunes to be told, and listened to the divination... with growing understanding.

He lit up immediately. "Akh!" he leaned down and kissed her cheek, "It's just a little side show with some fortune teller. Often times it's a scam, but a fun scam with company." He gave her his hand, "I'm glad you decided to come."
