Re: I Talk to the Wind [D7, LM] [Combat]
Ikkit, visibly snarling, laid his ears back.
[OOC: Ikkit will Aid until Round 4, by virtue of clearly being a hair's breadth from attacking, thereby serving as Motivation to do well.]

Re: I Talk to the Wind [D7, LM] [Combat]
Illiam'iira leaves the djinn to Whisper and Amelie! She hastily waves at Ikkit in the hopes of getting his help (if he so chooses, of course -- this IS the time he should be sleeping!!) with the Dao. If anyone can reason with someone so hard-headed it's gotta be the toughest goblin in Sigil.
"You really, really shouldn't fight here. This is a residential area -- you've got civilians going about their day or sleeping, like my friend here," And she gestures to Ikkit. "You start shit here and you'll have Hardheads chasing you down in minutes. Ain't worth it." Getting into it with the elemental, Illi tries her best to convince him if he MUST fight to take it to the Blood Pits, where it's legal and he can earn some coin. Though why should he need to? Even the strongest gale's fickle and short-lived, but the earth lasts forever; why waste even an hour on a Djinn met in passing, when they are such joys and pleasures he could pursue instead? She does her best to appeal to the Dao's own pride and ego, careful, careful to keep her balance with every 'step' in the conversation, buttering him up the way only a pretty bardic lady can. It's all tied together at the end with a dance -- Illia twirling around the Dao, offering a hand for him to join her in the pleasures of the flesh (and feet moving across the earth)! If he does, she'll lead, dancing him away from the alley and the djinn!

Re: I Talk to the Wind [D7, LM] [Combat]
Ikkit had been remarkably patient and tolerant. Easygoing, really. He hadn't even stabbed anyone yet.
And it seemed that the Dao was prepared to shut up and fuck off, which was all to the good.
Which left the Djinni, the noisy cretin.
Ikkit stalked over to the literal windbag and snarled.
"If y'don't take yer noisy show on th'road, I'm apt t'get uncivil. You're havin' this stupid shoutin' match ON MY FUCKING DOORSTEP an'I have HAD IT!"
Maybe it was the mouthful of razor-sharp teeth. Maybe it was the pure, unyielding fury at being woken up by a stupid argument between two complete bell-ends about which one of them was a bigger arsehole.
Whatever the case, something in the goblin's voice seemed to strike home, because he was the most intimidating 3'6" creature in existence at that particular moment.

Attempting to calm down the Djinn and de-escalate the situation, Amelie speaks to it in its dialect of Primordial in an attempt to add some legitimacy to her words.
“There’s no need for violence. This can be worked out in a way that allows both noble individuals to be honored and go on their ways, as is their right.”

The Dao seems placated to your talks and calms his nerves. However, the Djinni, proves to be annoyed at your perceived favoritism at the filthy Dao can no longer contain his anger on the matter as he lunges towards the Dao to deal with the problem himself.

The Air elemental begins to charge towards you all and turns into a small tornado, spinning thru you as it plows thru your defenses and floating right on top of Whisper and Ikkit before their possible ejection from the area.
