She hesitated from averring loud that those loopholes are traps. "So, any attempt at restoring your memory is an action against your patron?" Akh consulted her own knowledge if it were the case.

"If I assume that it doesn't want me to find out, then yes. But I don't particularly care so much if they don't like me trying to do so," he says, dismissive of his patron's wants.

"If this is my will against your patron's, I may fail. I can attempt to get into your memories anyway but if something odd happens to me, I hope you can figure something out." She paused to look straight at him with her misty eyes. "The other thing is what it involves... I need to get a small bite of your flesh. I realise this is a bit unorthodox, and may estrange some, hence I suggested privacy. I can assure you that the bite is not vampiric in nature, nor do I carry diseases. If this is too much for you, Fyne, it is fine. This is the only way I know and I am suggesting it only because you have told me you are determined."

"Do you need to bite it off or cut it off?" he asks, seemingly unworried over it, curious about the process. "And does it need to be from anywhere in particular?"

"To try, it really can be a sliver from wherever. But it probably can be more successful if the piece is still attached?" She didn't enjoy these conversations. Normally, she would offer a sexual intercourse during which technicalities rarely mattered as men could take a bite for explosive passion. Fyne looked like a lover who could reciprocate, making it all less embarrassing. Having Cyprian in her undeath complicated things.

He wasn't really thinking about anything sexual at the moment, considering the idea of sacrificing blood and flesh was not really an aphrodisiac for him. He simply held out his arm, rolling up his sleeve. There are several scars from bites, cuts and burns along his flesh. "Go ahead and do what you need. Teeth, knife or whatever else you need to do."

Then she cast a spell the effects of which he could recognise, a floating magical film that can be filled with symbols. She had never learned Undercommon or Fey language, so she imbued herself with the capacity to understand those and other tongues.

And then, with her sharp canines and premolars, she carefully bit in, closing her eyes. A jolt of energy passed between them as she sought Fyne's denied memories.

As you sink your teeth into him, you cannot seem to connect to his mind as you can with others.

It's difficult to explain...although his flavor reminds you of the undead, much like Cyprian's own flesh, he is still very much connected to his mortal coil. True, the a Necromatic power binds him and his soul and grant him his power and immortality, of that it can be ascertained, but the fact still remains his body still among the living and therefore beyond your current abilities.

That may, at least, grant the elf a small sense of comfort, if not more clarity on his current predicament.

He grimaces slightly at the bite but doesn't turn away or retract. Instead, he just watches with a curious expression, his mind parsing through the sensations. He eventually speaks up, "Hopefully I don't taste too bad?" he asks in a lighthearted joking way.

Akh pulled away, disappointed with herself. She carefully wiped her mouth and began to bandage the hand with medical practitioner's skill. "You taste alive, even as the necromantic powers of your patron infuse you and grant you those features that may suggest otherwise. And I can only piece out memories of those who are dead in some way. I am very sorry, Fyne, but I won't be able to help you this way. How can I make this futile bite up to you?"
