"Alrighty! Won't send you anything when it's morning!" Illi starts to skip. Her gaze begins to wander -- she can only avoid looking at trinkets for so long. "There's so much here," The drow thoughtlessly murmurs. "How are we gonna find a mimir here?"

"We just keep going, an'... ah. Crud. Look like Halzakh is off today... lessee..."

He looked around- despite the crowd being taller than he was, on average- cocked an ear.

"Right. Follow on!"

He led the way toward a noisy, malodorous stall manned by what seemed to be an unfortunately bloated human wearing a ragged silk robe emblazoned with what seemed to be so.e sort of tortoise.

"Right. Follow on!"

Illiam'iira does as she's told, doing her best not to get too distracted by all the extremely... distracting... shinies... though she's got enough sense to stop when the sound of Ikkit's footsteps does.

She gives the human a little wave.

The human narrowed his eyes at Ikkit, who put on a totally unconvincing smile.

"Cone ee chee wah, Kah-suga sa-ma. Mimir?"

The merchant rolled his his eyes.

"I speak Common, you miserable little cretin."

"Yeah, but that's less fun. Y'got a Mimir?"

"You got coin?"

"Oh, it's not for me..."

"Uhm, yes," Illiam chirps. "I was on the market for one. If you could help." Ikkit's gonna have to take the lead on this one -- this is his territory.

The man scowled, clearly annoyed at having his pitch disrupted. "Good thing I'm not selling it to a local, then!"

He spread his hands, his rather threadbare kimono doing some odd things with his paunch. "If you can find one for less than three hundred golden coins, I will be much amazed, for that is my price, and all know that Kasuga Hirota is an honest-"

"- pain in the arse! Tiamat's tits, you think she's carrying that much coin on 'er?! SHe's Clueless, not stupid!"

"I will also accept an item of comparable value in trade."

Illiam'iira is now smiling like a dog that is very very stressed. Just. Keep. Smiling. Through grit teeth, she asks, "Would it be possible to perhaps pay half with work and half with coin? Once I have it. I am a performer and could... advertise?"

The man... stared at her. Glanced at Ikkit, and seemed to reconsider what he was going to say.

Memories of the last time he'd laughed at something the goblin was trying to do danced through Kasuga Hirota's mind.

It had taken a week for the swelling to go down, and the smell had lingered for a month.

"Advertise?"

"Advertise?"

"Why yes!" She chirps before giving a flourished bow. "I am a performer trained across multiple planes, and stand out wherever I go; it's hard not to notice me when I get going!" Illi hops up to grin. "I could sing the praises of your shop all across Sigil or perhaps even show off your lovely wares while I do so... make them fashionable while showing off their high quality." Or try to, anyway. "More Clueless are likely to buy a mimir from you if they realize how useful it is and that they can get one from you, I imagine."
