'' Hang on, if you lived in the surface of your prime, didn't the sun hurt you? I thought drows avoided the sun because it burned them. At least that is what iwas told. Unless your world doesn't have a sun?''

"Nope, we have a sun!" She laughs brightly. "It does hurt those who have lived their entire lives below the surface, but those who brave the world above eventually grow used to it. If you're born on the surface you usually don't have any trouble at all. I never have, anyway, and neither have my mother or my sisters." Her expression hardens a bit. "We have raiders in Toril, too, though." It's painful to know they share that sorrow.

'' Do you follow human gods? i follow Wee Jas, not the Seldarine, so that wouldn't be that rare, now that i think.'' She explained about her own belief. '' I do have respect for Melira and Hanali, but i don't follow them.''

Illiam'iira brightens -- literally -- as Alynne asks, her skin a swirling cascade of sparkling pastel colors. "I am a Moondancer, a child of Eilistraee!" Her brooch is held up to show the mithril crescent moon on its cover. "As my mother was and her mother was, I walk the path of return until the promise is fulfilled." There's a bit of reverence with how she speaks that -- like a prayer. "And what of Wee Jas? I have not heard of them before!"

As far as I am concerned, it worked. What is left to be done before you guild can begin it's operations?''

Ikkit, the bone crunched up, lit into a bowl of fruit, the impact of his assault not unlike a storm plowing into a dilapidated building.

"I will need some actual members, for a start, and to address existing interests in the field. I have enlisted Tensar to try to hire a public facing position to handle recruitment and sweet-talking, as I am unskilled in such arenas, and will need to finance his cut of any such successful hire I have also sought out the goblins who volunteered their services and made my offer to them. Beyond that, it is a matter of finance, expansion, and securing a site, both for a headquarters, and work spaces where salvage may be processed. Sigil has many things, but abundant vacant land is not on the list."

'' Wee Jas? well, she is the Ruby Sorceress. Goddess of Magic, Death, Love and Law. She is the steward and guardian of the dead and a witch of great power and beauty, some say the most beautiful goddess there is. I don't agree with her stance over law, i don't like lawyers and judges too much, but i did come to agree with her views over magic and love in principle, and the pursuit of beauty that she expects from both living and dead.'' Alynne shows her magnificent pendant around her neck, the flaming skull of Wee Jas, which is made out of rose gold with encrusted small rubies to the drow. '' She is a human goddess, although quite popular in other places, especially in Greyhawk where i performed'' She said.

As he swallowed a small peach whole, Ikkit considered.

"Stable gates with reliable keys are high-value property. It would be a serious investment starting out, but it would certainly expedite removal of out and out waste. I had also hoped to enlist creatures for whom waste is not waste, such as otyughs and the like."

It's not too surprising the woman doesn't know. "She's Corellon Larethian and Lolth's daughter. When my people were exiled, she joined us."

Illi tilts her head as she listens. When Alynne presents her pendant, the girl leans in to give it a good look-over. "What are her views on magic and love? What about beauty?"
