"I'll be back."

"Of course, of course!" Cyprian watched the show with applause. 'What a magnificent night this is going to be!' He looks around for Akh and is a bit sad she hasn't emerged yet.

While looking around he noticed the clockwork lion and cocked his head. He approached the beast curiously while the two ladies made their introductions. The way the gears and gyros lock into place on these things always astounded him. Something about it made him want to write a song.

"Can I offer you a drink, Lady Dare?"

"Perhaps I might join you both?" He smiles easily as he approaches them. "Cyprian Valdemar Kircheis, I must say you know how to make an entrance my lady." He nods to Dare. "And am I to understand you are Factol Montgomery? It is truly an honor. Thaddeus sings your praises with every ounce of his charisma."

A wide smile appears on her face as you approach, while she looks you over. "Ah aye, yer de gentlemen wi' de bagpipes. Oi must admit, oi wus impressed wi' de way yer blew. It got me missin' me 'omelan', whaich is naw easy task for me ter chucker, since oi ran from dare wi' naw regrets."

((I forgot she speaks with a Irish accent..woopsie.))

"Ahh yes, I am quite familiar with your House, and the honor is mine to have you here. Most importantly, I must say I am quite impressed with your contribution embrace of the feeling of this event. Your contribution and the tale was very exciting, and I look forward to experiencing it soon when this is over."

Taking up an accent just to sound more exotic and more memorable? How gauche. How petit. How insert your favorite French word pronounced with an accent that's neither French nor British here.

"With pleasure. No alcohol for me though. I'll try my tongue at one of the many uncommon varieties of tea you have to offer."

[Factol Montgomery]

She nods and motions to her consort to grab the requested drink, ordering her usual "Oi got sum from de Beastlands dat is ter quite divine. A nice mix av a citrus an' zest, yet pure and clean at de end." She nods. "Wyvern whiskey fer me. A strong draink from Toril wi' a wyvern scale in it ter add ter de belt. Gives new meanin' ter peck yer poison, I'd say."

She smiles. "So, 'oy is yisser family doin'? See dem on occasion in 'ere, but never really git much av a chance ter blather wit em."

[Cyprian Kircheis]

"It's a rare occasion I get a stage to play them." Cyprian says as they casually slip into an alternate reality. "It's even more rare to find a crowd that enjoys them as much as I do."

He then grins and turns to Dare. "No alcohol, while at a bacchanal? Why that's simply madness Ms. Shah. Or could it be that you're afraid to drink and pilot your lion?"

"Enough people already experimenting with the sensations you get while witnessing tonight's display in various state of drunkenness. Need some people looking at them while perfectly sober so the experience is actually complete.

What would be an appropriate image... If you always cover your food in sauce, even in quite good sauce, you never get to taste the raw ingredients' actual flavor."

[Cyprian Kircheis]

"How altruistic of you!" He raises his glass to her. "I suppose there's merit in savoring the meal without, but normally I settle for a taste of the raw before indulging in the sauce. That way my own experience isn't lacking in any way." He takes a sip.

"Tonight aside, how do you normally take your sensations?" There's a small chuckle. "Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I suspect control is not a thing you go long without."

[Dare Shah]

"I'm not that out of my element actually. Seems like the show has turned de facto into a display of mechanical and arcanic creations. Not sure exactly what curse struck the performers of more ephemeral art forms, but tonight certainly isn't their night. Something in the air or drinks maybe?"

Note to self: Check if the Sensates did indeed spray some drug around. File a formal complaint if they did, for blatant breech of consent.

"Greyhawk? I cannot say that I have ever been. My first memories are of the Feywild, and a drive to bring me here. I..." Ore pauses. "Know of no others of my kind. Except perhaps Boy, who is my creation" Ore pats the dog things head

"You're from the Feywild?" Illi perks up. "I, uhm, my family has strong ties there!"

...yes, Illiam, that's very obvious.

She tilts her head, thinking a moment. "Why do you want to become a god?"

...she leans down a little again to also pat Boy. Good dog.

"But yes a proper lady only lets loose under her own terms. Folding to social pressure is unthinkable."

"But, ohh, so fun." He grins mischievously. "Temptation is the pinnacle of sensation. So sweet and alluring, yet forbidden. Its song like a siren, calls you to its inviting shore. And then, when you give in to its subtle call, pure and unadulterated bliss."

Another sip followed by an oh so gentle shake of the glass.

"Oh come now, leave regrets to soak in the shoals. Join me my genteel socialite. You know you want to." He teases meretriciously.
